Console DLC has a 2 week approval process so I would expect squads to be the same as the previous Live Update, anything that was added/removed in yesterdays Live Update most likely won't be in the Data Pack

Yes, good observation.

By the way, Paul, I think you`ve mentioned that before being gone from game, players can go to free agents and only then, after DLC they are gone. This is what exactly happening with Arda Turan and Vidal. Probably Konami thinks to add them back after winter transfer period, so it would be more realistic...

It should move them all back to their original fake teams, and reset nationalities.

May you please confirm this two questions?

this means if I'm doing the swiss league over the PEU-League I shouldn't transfer any players or change nationalities before the DLC?

But any change to name, position and skills will stay?

And I'm going to base-copy the free agents (players that left Basel to Bundesliga or elsewhere) and the ingameplayers joining Basel to make sure they won't lose their face.
I hope Michael Lang and Luca Zuffi get their face as well as their also part of the swiss national team.

I can't confirm as no one knows for sure, but based on previous releases everything you edit on a player except the nationality should remain as you edited it.

I think nationalities are reset because the national teams are reset to default rosters with the DLCs as well, so players need to have their default nationality to allow them to be in the national team.

I haven't edited any rosters or formations in my Bundesliga yet, only the kits/emblems/stadiums/managers/banners/rivals, and some players (edit the fake ones in the fake PEU League first so they are easier to find).

The first of many updates to PES 2016 is coming October 29, Konami has revealed. This patch updates the game’s team rosters to be in-line with the current real-world squads across the world.

This includes real-world player forms, which Konami says will be monitored and updated weekly. Newer kits have also been added for many teams like the entirety of French Ligue 1 and Ligue, the two top Spanish leagues, and Serie A in Italy.

A number of other teams have also received official strips. Teams Such as FC Groningen, FC Utrecht, Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as Brazil’s Flamengo & Palmeiras and Argentina’s Independiente, Newell’s Old Boys and Vélez Sarsfield.

In addition, UEFA Champions League and Asian Champions League-specific kits have also been added.

Over 70 players have been updated through the game’s PES ID system, which translates likeness, as well as play-style and skill to the game.

I copied drogba and it said he was moved to free agents?

So now I have 2 drogbas? Will he get signed in season? If so, I don't see the point in doing this

Usually he won't. You can sign him, but the com will not sign a players from the created players folder.
And you'll see the point why you MUST base copy Drogba when the new dlc come out. Unless you intentionally want to erase him from your game completely...

You can either put him back on the national team and then he will get signed or what I do is I usually hold a draft for the bundesliga teams.
