Corner Trick

In every installment of PES there is always a trick to delivering corners to get frequent goals. And i think i have finally found out how to score off corners in PES4.

Best way seems to be:

Corner from the right hand side: Use a right footed kicker and press right untill the screen stops, then ever so slightly press it back left. Once you've done this hold UP and press :circle: to just under half way (make sure there isn't too much power or the keeper can get to it).

Ball should be whipped in, to the front post and you can head it in. Seems to be a high success rate of goals and the defense quite often can only clear for another corner or out to where your DMF is standing.

Also remember the better stats on your kicker the higher the chance of scoring.

scoring directly from corners in pes 4 seems to be a history ,but i use the same way and seems to be the only way to have a chance to head it in 6 out of ten times

Pretty effective method. I scored 2 in a 3.0 victory over Spain with Italy in the World Cup final (6*) !!!!:D

I use the same technique slightly different, and it works wonder with me. Instead of hitting :circle: once, try to hit it twice fast. It increases the chances of having the forward run forward to inteercept with the ball, and scores!

Works more than it should with me

after hours n hours of practising i concluded that this is the only way to have a good chance to score from corners.
by the way the only player that seems to have the ability to deliver it directly in is becham.after playing several hours with real also

Mix your corners up. sometimes go for the far post, sometimes near. a few times, go for the short one. Also, wait a few seconds before taking the corner, if you're playing someone, then it will keep them guessing and also give time for your players to take up better positions. Score loads that way. :)

Yeah this method is a beauty!!
Also try using someone with big Curling skills. Eg. Becks. From the right hand side go fully right until the screen stops then half power holding up and left direction as you power up. Whips it in nicely!!
Same from the left with a lefty eg. Recoba (but reverse it obviousy!!)
This has worked on every outing of Pro Evo I have played!!
But you have to mix things up for your own enjoyment or else you get bored!!!

Back and to the left.
The trick is just to wait for one of your players to make a run in the box and play the ball in his direction. if you have your crossing finely tuned you can usually get a free header on goal.

The way i score is to point just infornt of the front post, at about a 10 degree angle from you and the goal line and hit it about half way power. Then when it is delivered, press X and the direction button not [] and your player will lightly head the ball towards goal resulting in a nicely placed header, or a save and a goal mouth scramble

By this method, i'm not heading the ball into the goal but the defenders of the other team do! Haha good trick. Won 4-0 with Japan against France. Silvestre made 2 own goals!

This was the method I used in PES3 as well. The good thing is that it works well v. the CPU. The bad thing is that if you play against your mates, pressing :triangle: (which takes out the keeper) will always result with the ball in the keeper's hands. it's very easy to spot that you're going for this kind of corner kick, thus your mates will always take out the keeper. So a good combination (after you've played your mates for a couple of matches and they spotted your corner method) is to make it like you're gonna go for it and then play a short one, or press :circle: fully and curve it outwards...
The point is you can't play the same corner against people. (unless they are dumb, of course :D)
