Crazy problem

Hi guys

Iv got PES 2008 on my pc been happy playing for months and then totally out of the blue i go to play the game and i get this message appear.
WARNING

your computer does not meed the minimum specifitactions necessary to run this software. You may experiance errors during operation, the video card does not have the necesssay specifications. (vertex/pixel shader 1.x)

Any help would be great. thanks

What specs has your computer got? Does it match the nessacary specs required for PES2008?

I have got just about all the requirements, i have been playing the game for months with no problem. Im not the pc wiz at all but if somethings works fine for months how can it now start showing that error message. Im gutted coz iv just got near to my perfect 11 on master league lol, you got any other ideas and has anyone had that error message before?

Possibly you are running out of space on your hard-drive? Im not sure but whenever something starts crashing after working for so long, its sometimes down to lack of space on the hard drive.... At least thats what its like with mine anyways lol

Thanks for your replies DJ_SMURF_2004, i think i have found the problem, recently my monitior stop working (it said that no signal was being picked up) so i moved the cable from monitor to another port. I think my graphics card has burn out or something and thats why monitior lost signal coz the pc does not recognize my Geforce graphics card and has gone back to the bog standard graphics card which came with pc. Im thinking i could try and install drivers again and see if i can switch back to Geforce card but it looks like i will need new graphics card...lol thanks again for help does what i have said make sense and sound like it could be the problem?

Possibly... One way to find out if your graphics card has died is to Click Start, go to Run and type in DXDIAG

Click no to the little pop-up that appears...

When the window loads simply go to Display and it should tell you what graphics card your computer is running. If it is your GeForce then it could/could not be your graphics card.... if its the on-board graphics card then yeah, you will need to get a new one...

Have you opened up your computer to see if everything is ok with your GeForce card? Have you checked the cables are plugged in etc?

Iv had the case off and checked Geforce card in securely in place and its fan is working fine, aslo i have checked every cable secure in my whole tower i think twice lol.. il try what you said about typing DXDIAG in and see whats happens..
