im on a xbox so for me its hard.but if your playing on ps3 i think you just edit the badge in photoshop so there is no background. i think its the same whit kitsponsors. then you just placing it on a usb and copy the files to your photos directory on your ps3 harddrive. same with faces. go to your teams homepage and save the photos of your players on your computer then just edit in photoshop so that you have the correct size then do a transfer via usb to your ps3 and do facescan of all the players loading the facepics from the harddrive. dont know if you have limited slots for faces on ps3 but this would be my advice.
go to this thread and try to learn more. you can probobly get the right badge size by comparing the size of the badges in this thread!

Also find this info on that same page. think its the same if you only want to import one badge, two kitsponsors (home and away) and a couple of faces!
To put an image in-game on PS3:
ok, heres what i did:
1) download emblems/kits and unzip/unrar them.
2) create a folder on a usb stick and put all the images (pngs) in this folder.
3) switch on your ps3 and goto the PHOTO menu.
4) scroll in the menu to your USB stick but dont press X, instead press Triangle this will display another menu, select the "Display All" option.
5) this displays the folders on your usb stick. Now select all the images and select "copy", this will copy all images to your ps3.
6) now load the game, go to the edit mode, select edit teams, select a team and then the emblem option.
7) in the emblem menu select custom, then create from scratch, then import. you will be able to select one of the images you copied to your ps3..
Hope this helps.
Dont forget to save the file as .png when youre done editing in photoshop!
