WOW..........amazing tactics zyg
France are so much better, honestly, i didn't realise how much difference a little tweaking here and there on the tactics made to the overall enjoyment of the game.
LAST NIGHTS RESULTS
here we go..........
first game.........I WON 2-1.........Yaaaaay, there is a God, and his name is Zyg.
Pires and Zidane scored for me......Zidanes a stunning 29ft drive as he was running from midfield.
I lifted my shirt over my head and ran around the house, singing 'WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS'
game 2. The bairn changed his team to Liverpool...ok....whats he planning?
Henry scored first, GET IN. I'm on a roll here.
Owen equalised.........righto' 1-1
Then, second half....Diouf scored straight after half time.....ok...i'm enjoying the footie. I know i've got most of the possession, a goal will come.
I'm battling and battling, only 10mins left.
MUST GET AN EQUALISER.
DISASTER, Heskeys through 1 on 1, he goes for the lob............back off the crossbar.......PHEW!!!!
SHITE!!!! the rebound bounces off Thuram into the net. 3-1. GAME OVER
game 3. he changes to England now, brilliant game, end result was i lost 4-3, but again i had most of the possession, and many more shots. Its just a case of me being more patient, i think i use the wings too often. When the score was 3-3, Owen got seriously injured, off what looked a minor tackle. I thought that was my meal ticket for a great victory, but sodding Heskey scored in 88th min.
Not too bothered about that loss, it was a great game.
game 4. he reverted back to Man U. i lost 5-1......nuff said......i was abysmal. don't ask
game 5. WON 3-1 against Man U. I was astounding, the bairn was blaming the joypad, shouting at the ref, claiming every tackle i made was a blatant foul, oooh, i loved every minute. Pires scored first from a header off a corner. Then, Henry a powerhouse shot, at an awkward angle to the right of the box, off the post and in. STUNNING. Petit got the third, bit of a goalmouth scramble, and he toe-poked it in from about 3 yards (How brilliant is pes3 at goalmouth scrambles...no other footie game can recreate scrambles the way it does)
Ronaldo got a consollation rebound in 80th min.
But the game was amazing in realising how the tactics made a difference. I was patient, took my time, watched the radar for all forward runs. I felt like manager and star player at the same time. Best game of pes3 i've ever had. I practically had tears in my eyes at the final whistle and watched the highlights about 3 or 4 times. I WAS BRILLIANT.......THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.
then I lost the next game 3-1 and that was that.
one thing i find he does a hell of a lot, is dribble straight through my defence, i cant seem to tackle very well. I think it might be because i seem to have R1 held to catch up with the attacker, then don't leave go quick enough to turn when he turns. Not sure...any more tips?
Just a little time out to thank all people who supplied tips on this thread. They were all greatly appreciated and helped immensley.
