MAX DRIVE FOR PS2 GOES LARGE
July 13th, 2004 - Datel follows up the success of MAX Drive 16Mb with two brand-new, super-sized versions, available exclusively from CodeJunkies.com.
The ultimate memory management device, MAX Drive lets you transfer game saves between your console and your PC, using the computer’s hard drive as a saves archive. Download files from the internet, including Datel’s exclusive cheat-enabling PowerSaves, and trade game saves with other MAX Drive users via email.
Although the original MAX Drive is a massive 16Mb (twice the size of a standard memory card), you can never have enough digital storage space. To this end, Datel has released 32Mb and 64Mb versions. They’re exclusive to www.codejunkies.com, so you can’t buy them in the shops.
MAX Drive is 100% compatible with the new Action Replay MAX, allowing you to download the latest codes and transfer them to your memory card, so you no longer need to type them in. You can also take digital movies and music from your PC and play them on your PS2.
Datel’s Managing Director, Michael Connors, said: “MAX Drive is already the most flexible memory management utility ever, and now it’s available in three sizes, you’re bound to find one that fits your needs. There’s a MAX Drive for everyone”.
MAX Drive 32Mb for PS2 costs £29.99 (UK) or $39.99 (USA), with MAX Drive 64Mb for PS2 costing £49.99 (UK) or $59.99 (USA). It can be bought direct from www.codejunkies.com.
