Deciding whether to return to Pes. Help?

Hi everyone, please could you help me decide whether or not I am going to buy pes2017. I'm seriously tempted to do it, however money is tight and I want to be sure that I can play it in the way that I want to.

I cannot deal with the rigid boring structure of the FIFA career mode anymore, and in general I find online play frustrating and buggy so I really want to head back to pes and start a master league, something I adored doing back in the mid 00's pes prime. I am more than aware of the option files etc and actually helped create a few back in the day so I dont need any advice on this.

What I want to know relates to the master league structure and editing potential:

1, Back when I used to play, you would have division 2 which consisted of 10(?) selected teams, and then division 1 with 20 teams of your selection (could be from numerous nations etc not exclusively la liga or epl) from which you would qualify for the champions league and europa league equivalents. Is this still the same ?

2, I used to play with division 1 filled with premier league sides and then I would edit and create however many championship sides in order to fill division 2 and create a semi realistic replication of the english football league system whist filling the 'foreign' leagues with ligue 1, la liga and series a, allowing for realistic european comps. Is the creation of teams via the editor still possible ? could I still do this ?

3, I would also create a made up team for me to be, lets call them Portland FC. I would create the kit and badge and then use the default master league players placing the side in division 2 and competing with championship teams for promotion to the premier league. This is the most important question here, is this still possible ??

4, you were also able to edit the kits of the controlled team within the master league, is this still possible ?

5, how many slots are there now to create new teams ? back when I would play there were 1.5 'pages' that I would use for bundesliga and the few championship teams I needed.

6, are there still randomly generated players that appear in the master league, I remember 'Shimizu' in pes 5 was amazing and this was one of my favourite things ? And do existing players just 'restart' their careers when they retire, going back to being 17 again like they used to ?

Yes, afcorse. Thats the cool thing about PES, because you can create any team you want, put them in ML, add into any league you want, win your place in CL/Europa League and so on.

1/2. These are now realistic. You have Premier League/Championship in England, Ligue 1/Ligue 2 in France, Serie A/B in Italy and La Liga/Segunda Division in Spain. No need to create or fill anything. You can get promoted, get relegated and so on, get a place in CL/EL if performed well. You can play in CL in your very first season if you select stronger team. As for Eredivisie, Liga NOS, they dont have any lower divisions, so you cant get relegated. Lower divisions just dont exist for them and you play with the same teams in there.

4. I dont think you can actually edit your kit in ML itself, but you can always edit your kit in edit mode. All the changes should appear in ML at any time. This is afcorse for unlicensed/fake/fantasy teams only.

5. There are three fake leagues including 20 teams each. However, they are region based. One fake league for Europe, another for Asia and South America, they can all be used in ML, but afcorse only from Bundesliga you will be able to get into CL or EL. + there are other fake teams in European teams selection for you to edit. I would say there are 30+ slots for sure and for Europe only. Ohers can be created for Asia and America as well.

6. Yes, you can expect 17 year old Ibrahimovic with the same face that he has now. I dont know about randomly generated players, there are lots of them appearing in your youth academy (you can change names/stats/country for all of them in edit mode before you start)

I think this is pretty much it.

By the way, I dont think xbox users have the ability to import images. So, if you want to fully use edit mode and all its advantages, you should have playstation or pc, where moding is in another level.

Oh brilliant, this is exactly what I wanted to hear, looks like I will finally be returning to PES. Cant believe I ever left. Thank you for taking the time to answer me :w00t
