Did they fix button lag online?

since the latest download I haven't encountered it. Played about 10 games yesterday, all lag free! Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself :crymore:

no, konami fcked up again. I played today and in one game I had button lag.

I used to have loads of lag, but after the update, for whatever reason the lag has gone??????? I hope i am not counting my chickens???

I think it depends on what time you play? If the internet is slow it could make some games murder to play? my theory anyways.

I seriously dont think theyve done anything. I have noticed an improvement but I suspect that a lot of players who have lag issues have given up or traded in, lets face it even if your winning with lag on your side it makes for a crap game. If they had of improved it they would have told us, even if communication is clearly not konamis strong point.

Update ! Its been a few days now including a long weekend here in the US. I've played countless online games and experienced the button delay 2 times, both times the game was cancelled because of a bad connection before the end of the 1st half. All other games have been flawless, some faster than others but mosty very good and very playable with no lag issues to speak of. I could even say that Sunday afternoon online games felt very much like offline!

Whats really cheesing me off is that EVERY SINGLE time I've launched the quick match the person who joins has a GREEN dot and a fully imflated ball and EVERY FRACKIN TIME as soon as we get into the game menu they go either yellow or red and at this stage there's no way of quiting apart from dropping back into desktop and forcing the game to quit.

Now either all these mainland euro people are cheats and somehow clog up their upstream as soon as theyve joined or something is terribly wrong with the whole poxy system.

I've played about 20 ranking matches. Lost all but 2. All apart from one goal i've conceded have been caused by those infuriating bizarre lag enduced defensive mayhem situations. A few years ago when at its best online play was almost identical to LAN play I was always able to at least stifle any opponent. THis is all just so demoralising as Konami promised that they'd sorted the online this time.

(PC... 20Mb Connection London... For reference I can get a 7ms ping on London TF2 servers)

same here man...stopped playing for 3 days now as every time i've played a game...immediately when i click on start match...the other players connection turns from green to red...and then causes the whole button lag issue...can't even when any games at all...
