i dont know if this is discussed often, but the differences between console versions is like night and day. pes 2009 on ps2 is an entirely different game then pes 2009 on xbox 360.
also, i dont care what anyone says about pes 2008. for me it is without a doubt the most fun pes ever made.
sure every computer dribbles around like maradona, has the reaction time of flash, and sure 50% of computer headers go in, and sure the shooting is at times way too high and way too fast, and sure the triangle button is useless and you can dribble around for 10 hours, and sure the midfield sometimes resembles a blind, schizophrenic riot, but its FUN and its hard.
i get bored of all the other versions, including pes 6 because its so safe and easy to play. the gameplay is so clean and deliberate.
isnt the argument many people use when saying pes is better than fifa that pes is simply more fun while fifa, although more accurate, gets boring?
i use the same argument when saying pes 2008 is better than all the other versions. sure its not as accurate, but after playing any other pes i quickly miss it because its just so fun.
