It just occurred to me about this.
I've been reading lots of people's opinions on the forum and I just can't wait to get my hands on my copy of PES5... Which is still waiting at the darn docks... Boo hoo...
Anyway, I always found that in previous installments of PES/WE, the styles of play that are unique to each league in real-life was never really well reflected in the game. Not that it takes anything from the enjoyment of the PES/WE series.
Like in PES4/WE8, I found myself playing every match as though it were an EPL game. Always closing in during defence. Even with Italian powerhouses like Milan and the like, it was hard to play zone-marking and the AI would always close in quickly when I had the ball. It could be the way I've gotten used to playing the game, but I'm just wondering whether this has been better reflected in PES5/WE9.
Like I said, not that it takes anything away from the fun of the game. Just curious.
