Started a Master League yesterday on Professional level. I always play that level in PEs for years as it gives me a good hard game.
When i played it yesterday on Professional level the game seemed easier than previuos years , more like regular in older PES games.
Is this years AI levels easier.

By the end of last year I found Top Player too easy and Superstar too hard. This year I find Top Player waaaay too easy and Superstar (post-patch) just right! Having a great time with it.

If you guys playing assisted it will probably be easy on all levels. Manual is a different story. I personally struggle on Pro level but I maybe just not a good player

(Deleted my post-patch placebo thoughts... I'm sick of those stupid CPU goals that go into the bottom-corners of the net!)

I don't play Manual because it is broken. I don't like the idea of having to control the direction of the ball at the same time as I am trying to shoot because that is completely unrealistic.
In real football, you take a look at where are you trying to pass and then lob the ball or make a tru pass.
Manual shooting is broken too because the joysticks do not cooperate at all for finesse shooting.
However, I've noticed that Superstar is much more manageable and less scripted than Professional.

With the latest patch, I thought that the goalkeepers were now a lot better, but after extensive play I can see that they are NOT.

You don't like to control the direction of the ball as you're trying to shoot? How's that unrealistic? I am not sure I understand but I think it's good to have control overall, more challenging and rewarding as opposed to a fully assisted gameplay.

I thought it was just me. Im having a struggle on professional. However manual shooting makes the game far more enjoyable
