Does anybody know if you can manually change the difficulty? Or is it something which increases over time? I think I've won about 10 games in a row and I'm still stuck on regular.

Yeah, I'm specifically talking about inside My Club mode. Unfortunately I'm experiencing the sky router issue so can't play online at the moment
Came across this:
Taken from the in-game help menu...
VS COM
Play against clubs created by other online users that are controlled by the COM. You will play a series of six matches, and if you earn more than ten points, your level increases. The higher your level, the stronger the teams you will face. The six matches will be comprised of 3 home games and 3 away games.

Thanks! I have noticed the quality of the opposition increasing (i.e. better players) but It's still set to Regular difficulty
It gets to professional based on your wins. I am now playing it in professional and trust me it's much different plus you get a nice bonus for moving up a level

Great news! How many games did it take to get there? I think i've played around 13 now and have won all but one.
I think I played over ten games before that happened. If you've played 13, you should be there soon.
Thank your lucky stars mate..I'm on superstar now and it's insane!
TS of 95 and above and you have basic players running rings around you. Enjoy it while it lasts ..
Oh yeah and i'm not sure about the criteria. I have played a large number of games and i think on average after playing close to 20 games or so, i get upgraded.

LOL nice bonus ? i was getting 1700 on regular and now on top player its gone up to 1900 ? hows that a nice bonus ?

and just to clarify it took me about 30 games win streak on regular then i thought fuck it lets lose one and see if i go up a level , no. but 6 wins later i did and then professional took about 15 games and now im on 6 game win streak on top player but im winning most games 1-0 so superstar with my squad where my best player is saviola (78) is going to be tough . just hope they sort this dlc out so i get my superstar!!!
Yup, me too! I got demoted back to top player and boy am I happy about that! I find it hard to connect so i pretty much only play this mode except for few times i connect to people.
The AI goes insane on Superstar and I won the first two games and the rest were between losses and draws until a final victory for which I was told I was no longer a superstar
Annoyingly I still got just over 2000 when I won games in that level.
My advise for the superstar mode is just to defend as much as you can cos the AI takes no prisoners!!!

yes i find it hard to connect and when i eventually do get a game i am winning 2-0 and the match is void as op cheats so i think fuck it ill just make a load of gp vs the com!
yes you are correct matey and thanks for the advice , iknow all too well about superstar as i can win most games with barca on that setting but with a slow below average squad it will be a challenge but i have only conceeded 1goal on top player and the trick with the harder levels is you dont have to play neat football because it wont work you need quick balls from defence to attack and then one twos and delicate chip through balls to get one on one and composure and then yes waste as much time as possible while still building attacks. question m8 so im getting 1900 on top player and you say you made 20k but never won more than 3 games on superstar , so what was you getting for a win ???

yes mate after midnight everyday you will get 3000 plus your extras on top and this is called 'first win' which you get on your first win of the day but after that it goes to normal gp
