Disappointed

Edit mode is exactly the same as last year. The gameplay has improved but nothing else really. As a package it’s very disappointing.... and the steel box editions don’t hide this fact. Love the gameplay but i wanted more…..

So because you dont get all the licences and dont have another spaces to edit the game its "disappointing". Correct me if I am wrong but its a football game based upon the action on the pitch. I would rather have fake teams (back in the good old days on PS1) than shite gameplay.

If you put licenses before gameplay there's a kids game called FIFA you might like.

Here here. Ok. Yeah maybe a little disappointing they havent added anything to the edit mode but that doesnt make it a bad game. They have worked hard on the biggest component, gameplay. And its much better.

Well the emblem thing is just plain stupid -But not everyone can be pleased. No disrespect to the Portuguese League but aside from the big clubs which are already licensed the other club emblems are pretty shit looking and I have no problem leaving them default and saving those spaces for BuLi teams and other created European clubs.

I´m really happy with the gameplay. Its smooth and it just doesn't get boring. Cant wait for the full game. Don't see how you can be dissapointed with these small things, and without having played the full game.

Seven years ago we had great gameplay with pes 6. Now we have a game with great gameplay and it's called pes 2013. Do you remember the crap game from last year? Well this year we have the same game only it has the gameplay of pes 6...with a couple of tricks thrown in. My point is this game should have came out years ago, but konami were experimenting for 6 years and when they came up against a brick wall, they went back to why people were buying pes in the first place. I don't care if the whole game is unlicensed as long as we can edit it to the way we want. In six years they could have given us great editing options, since last year they could have given us better editing options...it's called progression. So i guess next year when the game comes out with the same gameplay as this year and nothing else different, nobody will need to buy it because they'll have it already. Though the gameplay is the most important part of the game, the editing mode is also an important part of the game. Why do you think all the guys on this forum are making kits, logos, faces etc? Why are people requesting kits, logos, faces etc?....you included. So if you were happy with ISS on ps 1, what are you doing here in 2013?
I'll repeat myself....the gameplay is great, i'm disappointed that the editing mode is the same. And all the game editors and requesters on this forum are disappointed that there hasn't been any improvement to the edit mode.

Gameplay wise fifa is a kid's game. Yes there are childish extras in PES which you can purchase, but it's not something a 12 year can pick up and master within the first two games which is something you can do with fifa.

And i think its because we are in desperate need of the next gen consoles to totally revamp gaming. But pes does look to have great gameplay. And fifa is wank

I agree, the majority of titles on the PES3 and Xbox360 have undoubtedly underwhelmed. There has been a lot more quality in the hype and marketing department than with the actual quality of the game play.

The fun factor just hasn't been there, I've played loads of titles and not many have been memorable experiences, compared to how it was when ps2, dreamcast and xbox were churning out classics with great replay value while being addictive.

Most days my next gen consoles just sit there collecting dust, until I get excited about some new release only for it to feel similar to the last counterpart.

I think theres a massive difference between last years and this years pes in the gameplay, every aspect of gameplay this year is better, i cant enjoy pes 2012 after playing pes 13 demo.

We need another company to try and bring something new to the table. Someone similar to Rockstar who take pride in their games and not just churning out new games each year. A new release every couple of years or whenever the game is to a satisfactory standard. But I'm just dreaming because it'll never happen.

you think with these guys putting out a game each year they would have created a masterpiece by now. But they scrap everything instead of building towards perfection.

Seems like PES benefitted from having a Seabass break, but he will be back of 2014 so everything they may have gained in the 2013 will be scrapped again.
