Diving in Pro Evo?!

it was on Fifa 98 or 99 aswell *dodges projectile missiles thrown at him*
it didnt work half the time and it look blatantly obvious.

if so will it be a star rating ability

I can remember the diving on those old Fifa games, I can't ever remember winning a freekick from one though.

i wouldn't like to see diving in pro, i mean those bird kits etc. there was no point in that i assume know one uses those kits

yer all the TIF had the diving which was pretty cool being 1-0 down and in the 90th min then dived to get a pen or what ever was pretty cool indeed. and yes does fit the star on the front lol who trains in a swimming pool so it seems lol

i agree it would be a more realistic addition. but i think they should only limit it to certain players, or like editing a player could be a setting to get you player to have the ability to do it.

Wasn't there diving in another footy game? I forget what it was called, but they handled it quite well. The game wasn't great, but the diving didn't really spoil it.

Hand-balls should return too. They were annoying as hell in PES3 but it's even more annoying when a player scores in the 90th minute with the help of his hand.

i reckon if done right it would be good.but TIF was a pap game so whenever i played i just constantly dived,hopefully pes has more depth.even when i was clean through id run straight at the keeper and dive over him.they also only had 1 animation for it tho.

thats what i like about pes they make the moves take a littel bit of effort,like with the roulette and flick,on fifa you usually just randomly turn the stick and alsorts happens

realism isnt always the best way forward,look at pes5 its main point of realism was the fact the ref blew the whistle every 10sec and broke the flow of the game,man that was annoying

Haribo said that he'd use it against mates, which would be a laugh. It should hopefully be an option on the screen where you set the time so as you can knock it off in Online matches, because you know that some people will perfect it.

lol yer mate sounds fun i host online leagues and if diving come in lol god knows.

i think that to make it more realistic if the people in real life who dive should have better chances of getting away with it, C.ronaldo, Garcia, Martins etc so they have like better dives or more chaance of getting away with it.

LB and RB (held together) + the direction your gonna dive in.

I guess that would allow some element of 'wrong' diving. If you dive the complete opposite way to where a challenge is coming from, you'll get a booking and if you get it right, down you go and the freekick is yours. Just don't dive in and they can't get the freekick (I hope).

I can't imagine how you can dive backwards tho.
