I will restrict my self to write only about controlers setting and the controls during the game play , for it is one of the most important aspects of a game . First , in the control setting we have only three options ,1- assisted 2- semi assisted 3- unassisted ....i never prefered any thing but the manual which became unassisted now , but is it the same ? not at all , the unassisted option is unplayable where AI interfers in the game big time i.e if you didnt cahnge the cursor -something used to be done when passing - the player will pass on his own !! just take a look at fifa konami they have a lot of options for different tastes . On the pitch , i used to love sliding tackles . now player dont slide even when i press the circle button several times . The players slide when the want to . Passing is not easily directed , instead it is done in a way that really i dont know whats it based on . Example , a player in the pen area is right next to you , you directed the control to his way , short x press ....the players ai tells him to pass to another player ...why ?? personally i think the worst thing about pes 2010 is the control setting and the cotrols on the pitch

Yup. The semi assisted is shite as well, as AI interferes with assisted sliding tackles. So frustrating

this is personally what i feel is the worst problem with PES. tbh i dont really mind if defenders clear the ball off the goal line out of their own accord, or if the ball falls to one of your forwards and a heavily crowded box from a corner and your forwards pokes the ball in the net from point-blank range, as these are reflex actions. other than that, correct^^^, you should control what your players do at all times!!
