Does difficulty increase as your team gets better in ML?

Someone on one of the blogs said that people who are finding the game too easy are just not using teams that are good enough (I believe it was Ockrass who said this). I play on Top Player and decided that I really want to see if this is true. I have played another seaon now, and my team is getting better all the time, but nothing in terms of difficulty has changed. It's just gotten easier in fact.

Does anyone else believe there is anything to this rumour? I'm not talking about BAL by the way, just ML.

Is this all just not enough to trigger the rumoured increase in difficulty? Or is it just a made up rumour by people who aren't as good at the game in order to explain why some people find it too easy?

I basically never lose a game anymore, though top sides like Real Madrid have caused me some grief in the past.

There's no such thing as increase in difficulty, no matter how well will other team's players develop, they will still play lazy, back-passing football.

The AI IN SOME games does try to cheat alot (thus why it seems harder) when you're using a big team, but nothing too serious because with a big team you'll still win more.

Well, maybe I'll have to give BAL a run since ML has lost it's challenge. Still hoping for a Konami update to add another difficulty level though...

It´s weird, but lately it seems that when my ML team has all the arrows green, orange and red, the CPU plays better and looks to score more. My team has all the playes in the 80´s and 90´s ratings.. it should now be easier to win, but instead I´m finding it harder. Playing 2018-2019 season...

Hey guys, Ive playing almost 4 seasons and my ML is getting harder and harder. The thing also is that I mix the leagues and i have mr´s pellegrini OF with some german teams. I mixed league A with the best premier leagues teams plus 7 teams from the bundesliga. And believe is hard as SH*T! also I started with borussia dortmund which has a fair team but I wasnt able to make it trough the champions league until the last 2 seasons. I think that if you this kind of things you might have a more competitive ML if not it will be a piece of cake

that are a lot of seasons my friend, I think that only playing more seasons you will find the game more difficult and for instincts more addicted. :D
