Does Live Update affect edited teams?

Does Live Update affect edited teams?
As far as I can see, it only affects player form and transfer. Not edited kits.
I don't know what it does to custom clubs and newly added players.
For example I created Bayern Munchen, with Ribery, Xabi Alonso.

I'm on XboxOne, so only edited in edit mode, no option file.

It just resets the transfers, so say you move the players who are already in the game into your Bayern (eg Robben) you will need to do it again after applying the live update.

Everything else like kits, created players stays the same.

They stay as you have edited them. That's on PS4, I'm guessing it would be the same on other formats.

You need to import all created Teams again, for example Bundesliga, MLS or Liga MX and of course all Nationalteams

What exactly do live updates give us, besides new ratings?
Are there new players coming along with live updates, transfers corrected or are appearances changed?
I am really curious. If it is just a stats changing due to current shape / condition, I think about skipping them.

Sometimes new players are added & transfers done, obviously at the moment there aren't many transfers unless they are loans.

Remember back in the day when you could apply a roster update but have the option to not have teams updated? So you could get new players and updated faces but not have the update jumble up your created teams/rosters?

This is no longer an option, is it?

No, there is nothing to choose, what should be applied.

Ok, so if there are transfers and new players I will use the live updates.
