Torres is faster, and after some season he's definitely great player. I like Drogba but he's a lil bit to slow for me :D

Anyway, you must good with the diving function. You have Babel, Gerrard and Torres in your Master League team.

Touché. Mind you, Torres hardly dives...

Gerrard is a true embarrassment sometimes. Not on PES; I'm so bad at diving I've not used it for several seasons - the buttons don't lend themselves to being convenient.

If they had diving on PES6, I'd have been much better off - I had CRonaldo, Joe Cole, Drogba, Nani, Anelka, Robben and Malouda. Not at the same time - I doubt that team would be great defensively.

From experiance I wouldn't have either, I have tried them both, yeah Torres was better than Drogba but there are some better strikers than him.

Henry
Ronaldo (fat 1 but only good till about 25ish)
Eto
Imbrihimovic (how ever you spell it)
Benzima (Only 22 on mine and coming on nicely)

I even had Bendler score more goals in 1 season than Torres and Drogba in 2.

Torres for me is just immense, can beat anyone and score from nearly anywhere. But he's been in my first XI every season, if you signed him I doubt he'd be as good.

Of those you said, the ones I've had:
Rooney - very very good - so powerful and all round brilliance. And I had him up front with Torres, was great.
Aguero - good finished, but lacks strength, didn't workj for me on PES2008

I'd recommend Agbonlahor, Gervinho, Laudrup (actually nearly every legend), Rowland and Chapi (although the PES2008 version of Chapi I don't think is as good).

Its better that using the diving buttons isnt convenient because it would be easier to time and perfect.

I've heard a lot about this Gervinho and Laudrup. Are these fast players?? I've yet to run a search on them as I'm into GTA at the mo.

I'll also have a look at Chapi, I had him on PES6!!

Yes, they're fast. Not C Ronaldo fast, but still fast enough to score a lot of goals on the break. Laudrup is a great finisher, and Gervinho's stats improve rapidly.

Also, if you're not against getting classic players, I'd recommend Eusebio, but getting him does kinda make every game a walkthrough.

Erm... sorry I don't quite understand? If you mean that if the buttons are convenient then it ruins the game because people can time and perfect it, I agree, but it is really an EA - style gimmick when the buttons are in such ludicrous places you can't hit them quickly.

I'm surprised no one mentioned owen. In ML his stats become unreal. After a season and a half nearly every single one of his stats is 95+

I had Owen for 2 seasons and he was quality. But when his stats go down they go down quickly. In one season his speed went from 95 to 90. So I swapped him for a young Benzima, in his 1st season he was my top scorer with 40 goals!!

Yeah I think I am almost at the end of Owen's peak (coming up to the end of season 2). But for the full season I have had him he is my leading goal scorer with 65 goals. I'll probably sell him at the end of the season and make a bomb as stat wise in my ML he is the best striker out of the entire league. Not to mention he is the top ranked striker. I can see myself easily making plus 20,000.

I just need to decide who I am going to replace him with which is really difficult seeing as he has practically full top speed acceleration dibble speed, acc and shooting acc and technique. Which is freaking hard to find someone with the qualities it is usually speed and dribble or shooting not both. I may go for agbonlahor. Only thing he needs improving is his shooting acc and he is currently 22. Which hopefully should be enough time to improove his acc before he becomes a waste.

Yeah I bought him but looking at his development chart I didn't see him becoming a ball sniping god. However I have picked up a rookie called Rowland who looks like he will turn out to be amazing. I'm thinking of checking pout dos santos as well. The mexican that is.
