The next big dlc will be after the transfer window which is frankly too far. The next dlc will include the faces that are in PES 2016 and not in PES 2017. Maybe that will be a good place to do a overhaul. It will be good to do a kit and names correct names option files based on the default teams only. We can start eliminating duplicate players and transferring the correct club players to the national team. A list of fake players, duplicates will be helpful.
From there we can start adding the German leagues linking the kits and names first. We can edit players from the default base which minimize creating players. If possible, we should make a list which player is edited over and release to free agents. For example FC Klon has 20 player and the default base team has 25 the 5 players release will be add to a list. They will be given priorty to be edited and add to the next team that need players. For example Mainz has 30 players, the 5 player above will be edited and add to Mainz. I think this will help in keeping check of edited players.

Then we can add in the list of champion league teams from Valencia5.

I think the above option file with the German leagues and CL will be a good base to add other league. I think it will need some serious collaboration, and will be willing to help.

The issues often are caused by the fact that the file creators created a player overwriting a fake player. Then they notice that there was a duplicate already, especially at the national teams/free agent section. Then they scratched the created player from the team squad and added the duplicate from the national team/free agents.
But being lazy or not caring about the consequences, they did not re-set the overwritten player to their original fake name.

That's why we have hundreds of duplicates... I think the easiest way to start a master league is to wait until the next official big Konami transfer DLC is released and the free agents will have been removed because of license reasons...

By the way: I found a mistake at Omiya Ardiya and South Korea national team. At Korea there is LB player named K. Numata. This player really exists, but he is actually Japanese and plays for Omiya Ardiya. The South Korea player Numata has to be replaced by Chang-Soo Lee.

Question about Numata, is he in the translated J League, because I just edited a player on a PAS league when I made him on my copy.

I know that this isn't a helpful post, but threads like this one showcase perfectly why I wouldn't advice anyone to use such multiple-source efforts like Cristiano's OF. Not hating against Cristiano, of course, but if you use imports from many many different people, you are prone to end up with a very screwed database of duplicates as some of you already found out.

All those Other Team imports should really be done by a group of people (or one guy) who talk with each other and don't use or create the same base players/duplicates.

Question about Numata, is he in the translated J League, because I just edited a player on a PAS league when I made him on my copy.

I downloaded only Erzo's translated version for my own file.

Numata is at Omiya Ardiya but it's the player from South Korea NT. And you cannot change his nationality because he is in Korean team.

Maybe only I had this error... I don't know.

Just an update guys. This is actually a huge undertaking...I got pretty far...

I've finished all of North America, Africa, Asia, Most of Europe, Most of South America.... this isn't leagues...this is checking nationalities 1 by 1...so it's a grind....

I only have the major countries Argentina, Brazil, England, Spain, Italy, Germany to go...But those are 800+ player countries, considering duplicates...I have to spot them, transfer fix them, reset the duplicate, fix the number, release him, then make sure the gameplan didn't get messed up.

Here are my notes so far:

1. I believe a decent portion of the issue here was caused by me reimporting. Example: If I used a Celtic from the shared teams thread, then I said screw it I'm gonna start over, did a live update, and then used Celtic on DLF, if the players were not shared...when the original Celtic teams get imported onto, all the renamed players from the old Celtic go into the free agent pool.

2. Like I said in the other post there is a big number of times there will be a "official" version and the team creator may miss him, and create one instead on top of another player....sometimes due to an accent in his name, or just miss him completely, or maybe not even looked for him.

3. There is number of times. The player was base copied, from the "official" player, but not moved...which I don't understand at all. Since they knew of his existence, why did they copy instead of move? But it happens about a dozen times.

4. With the shared teams thread, and my packs based off of them. When they were created and posted, sometimes they were made with fake created, base copies, or the "officials". With all the different editors it was hard to tell exactly who. But there were cases they used a base copy, and I re base copied that. Or they used a real, and I base copied to make him compatible, but I should of transferred him...no way to tell....until now.

5. Numerous cases of Konami making true duplicates, especially with national teams...Romania, and Australia have a few and others I can't remember.

6. J League by Dore/Erzo has only a handful, MLS by R8cha has some, The Liga MX has a ton, DLF has a bunch, the individual teams on the share teams thread from all countries, on a case by case basis some have none some have an enormity. My packs based on them have a bunch. South America more so...

I will upload a fix for the other teams...

Maybe I'll post on the PC forums. With the modders, would be nice to have a small program.....

That could Uznlib and Decrypt the OF, scan for duplicate entries, and give you a few actions to choose. Then Re Encrypt and Zlib the OF again.

I used to use one to make transfers in my master league that I thought were stupid, like Ronaldo to Barca, Neymar to Chelsea....lol

I am actually almost done, went through every single country, on every continent 1 by 1, just left the biggest ones...., now just need to do England, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina and I'll be done, relieved but dreading this final stretch.

Then I will be absolutely positive I eliminated all duplicates, real versions of players are on their real teams...

A project I may do later, is make sure the starting 11 is on point and certain player numbers are 100% correct, but that's for another day.

Colombia has won last Libertadores, so I placed 4 Colombian teams and just 3 Mexican instead of the 7 of the patch. I have preferred more teams from other South American leagues i.e. Uruguay Cerro, Venezuela Deportivo Tachira etc to play a more realistic Libertadores. On top I have created all players from Ind. S. Fe to have it compatible with the MLS.

The rest is all yours and Cristiano's v.4.

I actually just finished it all up, what a relief, Brazil and Spain were an absolute nightmare, because of the naming traditions. But I'm going to do some work, and take a break...and try to upload it later.

Even though almost EVERY team at least a good majority of them, had duplicates, I'm only going to upload fixes for Other Euro/Asia/Latin America so I don't step on anyone's toes. But the teams I used from the share thread will be fixed and compatible.

I'll leave the other OF fixes to R8cha/Cristiano etc...but there were a good amount in MLS, numerous in Bundesliga/Spain, a few in Japan, a dozen or so Konami duplicates in Asia, National team real players, with a duplicate with the same name. There was an enormous amount in the Liga MX that was floating around....a few confusing ones due to transfers, twin brothers, same names/age/position but different people. I googled everything....

I believe that will eliminate a lot of renamed players being thrown into the free agent pool.

With this file, I can guarantee absolutely no duplicates from the default roster, no conflicts, and if a real player existed in game, that he was used.

Here are the fixes, I promised. I've murdered so many duplicates, when I turn on PES all the players are scared now, when I start a game, they all stay hiding in the tunnel, and won't come onto the pitch lol j/k.

When does that come out do you know? I'm sure someone will have formulated a plan to deal with it, to be as unintrusive as possible
