Edited National Team squad not showing in actual games ?

Edited National Team squad not showing in actual games ?



I edited the national team squad, and replaced some
default players with new players, then saved the changes,
and exited edit mode.

But when I then started to play a game with
the same national team, the squad is still showing
me the default(unedited) squad ??

Then I went back into the edit mode again to check,
but the edited(new) squad is still there.

Why is the edited new squad not showing up
in the actual games?

How to fix this?

(I read from other sources said can fix this by disabling
live update, but I went through all the menus and could
not find a way to disable live update....)

To disable live update, push the R3 button before choosing teams (on exhibition matchs).

If you see forms arrows while you choose a team (arrows are just in front on the teams name), is that live update is enabled.
If there's no form arrows, live update is disabled and you'll see new edited squad.

There's no other way on exhibition match to disable permanently the live update.
If you've enabled or downloaded only one single time the Live update, it will be enabled everytime you start a match (so you need to disable it everytime too with R3)

Just tried, it works, thx.

In fact I don't quite understand the
definition of "live update" in PES.

Does it mean live updating with the latest data?
or just means replacing my edited data with
the PES central server "default" data?

but anyway....

Well, live update with latest transfers could be downloaded, but you can choose for not downloading it. It's for offline.

And the "other" live update is related to online but also you can choose to play with it in exhibition match. Not only teams will be updated with formations but also players forms (only for online and exhibition matchs if you choose to enable it).

Yes, it's related to the server, and more for playing online Division. On exhibition matchs with teams edited, it's better to desactivate it.

You probably come from FIFA, but they've got the exact same system.

I don't see any latest transfers updates anymore
with PES 2018 even with live updates, for example.
C.Ronaldo is still with Real Madrid,

so I guess Konami has turned off
transfer updates for PES 2018 already.....
