Editing / Creating Championship Teams and players - ratings etc...

I plan on creating 20 Championship sides for my Master League Division2 for my English league...

Obviously, obtaining and creating the team names, strips, numbers and player names is easy. To stop it being too time consuming I was just gonna have basic appearance edits, such as race, height, build and hair colour.

But I thought fans of those teams or other people who are 'in the know' may want to list their opinions on what stats each player in their team should be allocated, as... eg: I have NO idea what the Southampton striker is good/weak at!

Generalisations welcome, but if you want to break it down for each ability for every player in the team please feel free!

Newcastle:

Colocinni (DEF central) - long perm, white, average height and build - average defending stats, pace and strength. Not great concentration so no card ability to cover, man mark etc...

Smith: (MID central STR) - short blond hair, white, average height and build - quite strong. very aggressive. average pace.


and so on and so on. Obviously a lot of it is left to the writers opinion, but if we all chip in we could get through a fair few teams and be ready by the 23rd!

What teams are you planning on leaving out as there are 24 teams in the Championship?
Also i started to do a Championship OF last year and i used the football manager to PES stat converter to get the player stats correct. Could also get a general idea from the other football game.
If you want any player faces scans for some of the bigger players in the championship i have got a few from last season.

jack, i've just looked at the link and must say that it's truly some amazing.

i can't actually use it as i'm on an unchipped 360, so it's pixel work and plain edit mode for me but i am very impressed with your work.

Thanks dude. Just added VfL BOCHUM & SC FREIBURG with references to last page post (check them out) think they look great.

I was on 360 until Jan when got PS3. Got PES on release for 360 and almost cried with the lack of editing ability (Microsoft's stupid hard-drive). I did make some badges via the pixel paint, but honestly took me about 2x4 hours shifts per badge with no grid, just using eye to match and just became ridiculous in the end. :realmad:

Get a PS3 and you'll see how much better the game becomes! Plus Blu-ray and free online, great deal to be honest. That's what convinced me anyway :happy:

How do i actually download these option files? Do i need a usb-cable from ps3 to the pc?

they're made for PS3, you add them by copying to the XMB via a USB stick, then through edit mode, using 'create from scratch' - 'import data' and selecting the image.

They don't work on PC, but try Pes-Patch.com they have great OFs for PC.

You may struggle with making 20 teams because of the inability to edit nationalities. Me & my mate usually do a ML with Championship teams (Although we couldn't on PS3 last time, just PS2.) Our way around the issue is we're only going to make 14 Championship teams (+ 1 team to do ML with) & just make ML D2 League have 14 teams in it. Then just add a few players from other teams not on game to bulk up the transfer market. I've already collected all players stats (height, weight, pos etc) & a pic incase I want to put face on him. And I've got stat converter to convert FM to PES. Just updating all stats from FM2010 at the moment. If U think they'll be handy I could send them U. Also kept a note of players stats who have previously been on the game.

yes please mate. Its the stat converter bit i really need, but my 360 isn't online. Any chance some of this is via a link or a word document so I can use it when I edit my stuff manually?

If U PM me your email address I'll send U a file on a team to show U how I do each 1. I'll add the stat converter aswell. (I convert on PC then add data manually in game.) Any particular team U want me send? Also done Charlton, Leeds, Norwich, Southampton & ... Walsall (going to be my ML team.)

is there any news regards how the other teams b will work. i mean, will the complete squad be available in ML or just those who have been edited?

if you create a squad and have a blank man left over, will removing him from the squad make him inelligible for ML?

i am happy these teams are included but i am a bit concerned how they will be implemented as i dont want a flood of generic clones in my transfer market. hopefully there could be an option in each players editing screen where we can select yes or no for ML useage.
