Editing Player Ability Values

Have you tried editing the player ability values?

If I edit and improve the player ability values of my favourite team, would it help me perform better, would they shoot better, run faster, win headers, dribble accuratrly etc.

Any comments?

Hmmm what else do you think they'll be doing ???????

Ofcourse if you edit them it will enhance thier ability what planet are you on??????
Because down here on Earth when you edit a player for the better then obviously they improve ingame.

Anyway, my intended question was, if I change the shooting ability of a player from 84 to 94, can I feel that when I play.

I know people are syaing that the difference in the speed values do not really mean much. A player with 90 speed ability does not faster enought than someone with 80 value. (all other things being equal - fatifue, form, morale etc etc.)

So, would the effects of player ability value be very visible? If you've tried it, I would take your advice.

Yes you can feel the difference and why would you want to go and unbalance the game anyway???
It defeats the whole purpose of buying and selling players when you could just edit your full team and make them all 18 pointless,I hope they remove the stat editing again next time at least for Master League anyway.

Not for ML. Editing the player stats in general.

See, I love this game, at the same time I want to win (atleast 50% of the matches) so that I keep playing this game. I just the skill set of Chelsea players. Moreover, Chelsea is not that well-reflected in PES5 as say, Arsenal.

I suppose some of the stats don't do players justice, but just because thier stats aren't good doesn't mean thier not affective.

My advice is don't edit the stats, unless you want to go round each player individually.

I say this because every and i mean every player in the game needs a little tinker here and there, so just leave them the way they are;)

I would still edit but in such a way that my team does not become invincible (t wont, as long as I play for it! lol)

Well the edit section is there for a reason so if you feel that someone hasn't been done justice then i think if you want to you should,but i personally just leave it because if i done 1 player i'd end up sitting doing them all:laugh:

Well a lot of people use the random form arrows when playing matches, some because it is more "realistic" and some because they are the default condition. If you were to use the all red or all yellow arrows, then you would notice an improvement in the reactions and ability of all of the players. Use the same settings for both sides to keep things fair.

Now keep playing with these red or yellow arrow settings and everyone will play a lot better compared to random arrows. So you may find that you do not need to edit the stats.

Plus if you edit your stats, some people consider this cheating - and you could get too used to playing with modified stats when it comes to playing online where default stats are used or in tournaments etc.

Totally cheating !

If you want to play a game where you win 5-0 6-0 every game buy Fifa if you want a challenge buy pes5 (and don't edit stats).

If you can understand English, read my posts again. I had said I want to edit the stats because the player abilities for Chelsea are not correctly reflected in PES5.

Chelsea will most definetly win the prem.
Hopefully Rangers can find some sort of form as i feel Mcleish has outstayed his welcome he is destroying the team IMO.
