I have an 8 MB broadband line. I have already setup DMZ and port forwarding, but still the game is no good. There is no button lag, but the game was slowing so much when lag occurs. I have played at least 8 games today, only about 4 were good, 2 were ok, one is bad where it slowed down on me so much, and finally the last game was interrupted due to network issue.

In Addition, it looks like Konami has restricted ranked quick match making to owner country. Match making was so bad where one time i waited for 10 minutes and no opponents were found although I can see many players online. I quit the games after many tries in match making then switched to KZ2 out of frustration.

Matchmaking reminds me of PES 2008/PES 2009 where you barely can get connected to a match.

PS. I have never had any problem during the last 3 years with any game online except for PES Series.

Really wrecks the game, the time and money wasted on MLO this year when they could of got more liscneses....

Its funny how much time did they spent with ML online where online reallly doesnt work. What a waste. They could have spent more time fixing online gaming instead of opening a new window for a thing which doesnt work.

Lets hope that they still manage to fix this, the game is not officially out in UK and NL off course...

Fifa 10 gave me no serious issues and it was really easy to find a online opponent in no time at all.

I can tell that online is bad again this year because of the bad konami server. Why can't they make online hosting like starcraft2 or fifa online by ps3 account. I just don't under stand . Why they Dont focus on 1v1 stable online first, then MLO later, we can't even play online quick match in a correct server yet

Well I'm more concerned with the game offline. I just played as Newcastle vs some of the top teams, inc Man Utd, Chelsea & AC MIlan at the highest level and beat them every time. Im disappointed now, as the game is way too easy. Hopefully this can be rectified with a patch, but I'm beginning to wish I never bought it. I just can't believe how easy it is. Even when the CPU is in a good shooting position, it's like they are always trying to walk the ball into the net instead of just shooting. Out of all the PES games, I would say PES 2011 has the worst/easiest AI yet. :(

remember the good old days of pes 6 and the great online where we could chat and have rooms to enter and the such why did they change that it worked and worked well

I don't know what kind of level you are in , but in my opinion , it is way harder in PES2011 of the A.I

I don't think it's down to individual broadband speeds - I think it's just Konami's shit server, anyone with 1 or 2mb broadband could probably play any other game online with no problems.

I've made about 200 online games, about 15 of them lagged. Its fine! Its the best online expierence since pes6.

I have played 5 matches so far(just got the game 3 hours ago), I live in the Netherlands and have a 60MB cable connection. One match was cancelled before it even began("lost connection to opponent"?), but the other 4 games i played didnt lag at all:O. It doesn't always play "fluently", whenever a connection goes bad, the framerate drops a little but it is not annoying. So, to sum it up: I'm quite happy with the online play, considering the last 3 years were quite terrible.

I have to disagree here, ive got 15meg broadband and its been horrible. No problem connecting, but ive played 10 games and every one of the has had loads of lag, it kind of feels like slowdown now rather than button delay from pes 2010.

So dissapointing, as the game is great. But with this new passing system it makes it twice as hard when it lags!

If next year they did nothing to the game apart from strips and roster updates and fixed the online I would buy it, that would be amazing!!!

I don't quite get the logic behind PES' online system.

When I was in NY on a T1 line, I got lag.

I am now in Africa, 2MBS (at best) and virtually no lag. ||

Think it has something to do with the Ping..
