I don't like Denmark, their inhabitants or their attitude, and they have not produced a single football team worthy being mentioned, so why are you complaining? Besides, Liverpool was pretty damn popular in Denmark too, when that fat Jan Mølby was jogging around the center circle, eating hot dogs between his genius passes. (I suspect you wasn't even born in 1990 by the way) Secondly, the world does not evolve around Denmark, so whether they were famous there or not is not really an issue, they were famous everywhere else.

Denamrk did not particulary deserve a win in that tournament, they did not play extraordinary, and was lucky to beat Germany in the finals.

Greece won the Euro 2004, but greek football is not considered the best team in Europe because of it, neither is their national team.

Denmark qualified for WC 2010, but anyone with a shred of football intelligence knows that it does not make Denmark a better football nation than Norway or Sweden for example, but you smug danish people are going to milk that cow for as long as it goes, before retiring to your windmills waiting another 25 years before the danish football team gets some sort of recognition and qualify for a big tournament.
