fake national teams and names?

i have a question about all those national teams with fake names..can i just rename the players or those have nothing to do with the actual player?.meaning if i, for example, change the name of the guy that is supposed to be honda in the japan team, will it be a duplicate after?and if so, can i somehow move the already existing one into the team?

Yeah you can rename them as the positions/stats are correct. For the duplicates you can swap them with the real players by going to National Team Selection in edit mode.

if i replace them with the real ones, what happens to the fake ones..if i start a ml are all those players become free agents?

yes they will be in free agents. What you can do is to overwrite them by real players that are not ingame...but it will take you ages.
I overwrote them with free (real) agents before uploading the game (DP2).

Actually, this year in ML the duplicate fake player doesn't make it into ML Free agents. Which is brilliant.
