So, I did a little experimenting just before the first week of November. I turned my fan club rating to its lowest, waited for the board to pay all the staff, simulated about ten games to get my fan membership significantly lower than it was, and this is what I discovered:
Home games usually brought me in 640,000 per match. With a low fan following, this was reduced to 350,000 a game. So, yes, fan club is mightily important! Along with the sponsorships, it allows you to bring in anywhere between a million to two million pounds on home matchdays. Here's my current deal:
Gate revenue: 640,000
Home win bonus: 1.5 million (This includes bonuses for going undefeated for ten games in the Premier League, as well as three straight wins at home).
So, on home matchdays, I bring in over two million pounds. On Champions' League nights, this rises to almost three.
