favourite way of scoring

is there something im not doing right with the :L1: + :triangle: ?

can get barely more than a thru 'flick' from it.. no power whatsoever
its great for close range, but is there a way to get a little more distance out of it? tried holding down :triangle: longer or pressing it harder but nothing

Hold :L1: , :R1: and then press :triangle: to get more power into the chipped through ball. Though I prefer using just the :L1: and :triangle: because with that I find the shot much easier to control.

The best time to do it is when your players are overlapping each other, so when you see someone free and making a run towards the goal, then try it.

the best way i find of scoring can be hard at first to pull off, but once you've done it once or twice, it's a sinch.

Get one of your fastest players and bomb down the wing. pass it to another player who is just outside the box. fanny around abit until you get a couple of defenders around you, then press :x: to pass it to a player who will be waiting at the penalty spot (unamrked) and press :square: to shoot. The keeper will be out of position and 99% of the time you will score a goal. It gets a bit boaring after a while but could be cruical if you need that one goal.



Ps. It's best to do this when your at the top of the screen (imo)

i liek free kicks especially when u set them up... like i was playing with my mates and i got a free kick 23 yards out on the right and i had beckham as my default (in my ML team) and i go to change him.. and my mates goes:

"how come you're not going to use beckham?"

I simply replied:

"coz i wanna use recoba coz he is left footed and i can curl it into the right hand side of the net"

10 seconds later my mate says "f**k off!!!" after i slot my freekick in the right hand side of the net as i stated earlier...

They are the ones that i love...

Volleys definately.

Especially turning 180 degrees whilst the ball's flicked up in the air and volleying it on the way down. Did that with Crespo a while ago against Arsenal, dropped to him back to goal just outside the box, flicked over his head, ran around Toure and Campbell and volleyed into the roof of the net!
