Few questions about PES 2017! I'm back, it's been a while...

Hey Everyone;

I was on this forum for a bit last year for PES 2016. Really had a love / hate relationship with that game; then after February or so, I just gave it up all together as it was too frustrating:mellow:

Just wanted to get your feedback on this year's 2017 game. I saw IGN gave it 9.5 out of 10. Amazing!

My main problem with PES 2016 was A.I. on Superstar especially against big teams, with regards to the constant fouling, chopping down your players and most importantly, no fouls being called whatsoever. The no fouls issue has a been a problem for 6 years now with PES!

Has the fouls issues been addressed?

How is gameplay? More Challenging? AI etc.

In PES 2016, all matches were at night:shocking: Has this been addressed for PES 2017?

Overall, is this game better than PES 2016 and worth buying?

Online, has it improved? In terms of better connection etc.

I will answer what I can....

Has the fouls issues been addressed?
There are a lot more fouls & cards given from the games I have played

In PES 2016, all matches were at night Has this been addressed for PES 2017?
From what I have read yes

Online, has it improved? In terms of better connection etc.
Again from what I have read it is still a mixed bag. Still too reliant on both players having a really good connection.

1) The fouling system is better. Refs blow for more fouls for both your team and the AI. The advantage play on exploit has been addressed. The severity/leniency of refs towards fouls and the frequency of yellow/red cards is a bit of a mixed bag; I have had games where the ref has given yellow cards and red cards and penalties against the AI but there have also been situations where cards were not given. I've even had the AI con the ref into giving a penalty against me by diving.

2) AI defence is tighter and much harder to break down. Even in games where I'm getting 60-70% possession, I'm still struggling to score.

3) Passimg feels better particularly the way the players pass and receive the ball. And tuere many ways to score a goal and they all feel very different.
