Ok please dont kill me for this , but i have been a long time Fifa fan, and until now loved the series. Unfortuntly Fifa 10 has really let me down, i have been affected by the mighty list of bug of manager mode, lucky me. but being a fifa fan i thought must be my fault , lets see if there are any solutions "oh right no solutions atm , ok , wait a minute millions of us being affected ? Ea realised a patch but it made things worse? WHATS GOING ON!:erm:. so i emailed them.... 4 days later no reply:no: , a trip to their forums informed me all people are having the same problem....yah....also if you want to laugh check it out its full of hatemail to Ea and fifa producers which im sure alot of you will enjoy......SO i rang Ea 30mins later i got through to be put on hold then told that the problem is random and to have multiple save files and as one brakes move onto the next:shocking:, and that they can not tell me they are developing a patch or when it will be released, in other words they told me to go make love to myself:realmad:....

i know im on a pes forum but try not to be too biased:ninja:

So brings me to the main point , i am seriously considering to trade it for Pes10.... but i need to know some things before hand

Im a major fan of the fifa manager mode , so whats the differences?

what leagues are missing? players missing?

is the online still laggy?

what online modes are there?

Cheers Dec

The major difference for me has to be the game play and the online. The game play is just different. I cant tell u if it is better or not thats for you to decide because people have different likes and dislikes. Online fifa is def. better. If your getting pes for online then stick to fifa cause pes online still sucks, too much lagging. However, if you are tired of fifa offline then give pes a try because offline is actually fun.

what leagues are missing? players missing?
well a lot of leagues are missing in pes comapred to fifa. Pes only has english, french, italian, spanish and dutch league. However, pes does have a lot more national teams then fifa which is cool because you can actualy do like a legit world cup in pes. Obviously pes lacks a lot less players then fifa because of less leagues.

is the online still laggy?
Online sucks basically. Still laggy and too many players just quit or use barca/real.

what online modes are there?
well there is basically a head to head mode, a pro mode and also a competition mode like the CL and other kinds of competition.

whats the player development like?
Its pretty good. If you play Master league then you actually have a youth team and based on the level of your youth teams level you get different rated youths. I honestly like the player development although sometimes young players with good stats start declining at age 21 or 22 which is a bit odd to me.

A) Master League is a stripped down version of manager mode. You can't trade players, you can't make offers to teams or players, and it seems as though no matter what scout level you have, you can't sign certain players.

what leagues are missing? players missing?

A) Well, a little research would answer this, so I won't.

is the online still laggy?

A) From what I hear, yes.

what online modes are there?

A) Your standard 1v1 and 2v2. There is also Champions league mode, community mode, and I think there is Europa league as well, but I'm not certain.

whats the player development like?

A) Some players have their own individual curves, others are just standard. Some players peak early, some late. Players usually grow the most when they are around 19 or 20 and stop growing at about 25, if they have a standard curve that is.

^IN FIFA 09 MANAGER MODE I COULDN'T TRADE PLAYER TOO.
And in ML your league position, Champions league, and team position all have an effect on signing players.

No, not in the slightest. I have been #1 in the EPL, won the Champions league and FA cup, but was still unable to sign Gabriel Agbonlahor. Face it, it's a joke. Oh yea, this isn't about FIFA 09, it's about comparing FIFA 10 and PES 10.

Bad news ther is no patch to fix the problems, i had the same troubles as you and more and EA have been saying no patch because they used ther patch limit size allocated by microsoft which sounds like BS tbh since MW2 has had 7patches

PES ML>fifa mm tbh
