Speaking of the competition; have you played WE8? How would you say FIFA 2005 stacks up against PES4/WE8?

Danny Isaac: We play all the games as it’s important for us to know what our competitors are up to. PES/WE has good gameplay which I believe, with 2005, we’re comparable too. I don’t think you can touch FIFA 2005 when it comes to the whole package though i.e. gameplay, presentation, licences, career mode, custom tournaments, create player, online.

This bloke, is a right breast-implant. Doesn't he seem to see that the marketing advantage Fifa has always had over PES/WE is quickly deteriorating ? Career Mode = Masterleague, Presentation = WE8 Presentation is superb, License = Yes Fifa run tingz, Custom Tournament = Konami Cup and Custom Leagues, Create Player = The fack ? Fifa ain't had this feature for like 2 years and all the players are the same height, Online = Good Advantage For PS2 Platform but not Xbox as PES4 is online too.

Hot damn. I know I am in america and most of us are high on our Horses and egotistical but come on. Everything he just said was bullshit except for the Licensing. The tournaments last year sucked ass. I couldn't find a single international tournament at all last year. And from what I have heard so far is that the custom tournaments in fifa are 1-8 players so you can have a tourney against your friends. The season mode last year really blew as well. Especially for only five seasons. I hardly never made an apperance in the UEFA champions League. IF that was even in FIFA. It certianley wasn't apart of the tournament section of the game. The only thing I liked about FIFA was the fact that I could play as my home team. And then it didn't really matter. The season/career mode needs to improve a hell of alot to compare to WE7I. Hell I don't even feel like renting FIFA now after seeing these comments. I think the only for me to play FIFA 2005 is to take Fredy Adu and put him on Roma or Arsenal as a back up.

to be honest i did hear that PES4 did beat Fifa on the PS2.

However fifa 2004 DID outsell PES3 only because it was also on XBOX and GAMECUBE!

So the only place it will outsell PRO EVO is on Gamecube this year!

when the amiga died it left a huge gap for football games and thankfully iss came out on the snes and filled the gap and then it evolved into the finest footballl simullation
the world has ever seen PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER and since then each game has surpassed what the former year has achieved where as fifa is fifa S.O.S .............

Does he know that Fifa is turning more like American football.? Have prefixed instruction for us to choose during corners, freekicks reminds me of Madden. How can things go wrong? In WE/PES, it takes a lot of skill to execute a perfect shot. I cannot count the number bad corners that I have experienced but I like it.It is almost like the real thing. In fifa , the corners looks so mechanical and boring. Fifa despite of its name unfortunately does not give good representation of the sport. The dribbling in Fifa is extremely stiff and really leaves a lot to be desired. No one actually dribble like this. Yes, Fifa may have a lot in there but it is the gameplay that counts. Just look at the game guide. In WE/PES there are so much to write. In Fifa, two pages will be sufficient to take care of all the moves and strategies. What is there left to say.

It really pains me to see Fifa which was one of my favourite game refusing to see their game is not keeping up with the times..
