Fifa has fixed/predetermined online matches

funny how all the threads below are all rated highly....personally i think fifa has gone a step down in their series (like how konami done with pes 2008) and to say that Fifa has beaten pro evo this year is an absolute disgrace of a comment

fifa 10 is simply an unrealistic, zero gravity game which can not in anyway be compared to real football... its scripted play both offline and online (games online have predetermined winners so that pro's and noobs are kept at the same level, see below)

stuff like pretty animations, handfulls of tricks and slicky manouveres as well as modes like virtua pro are just a nice warm blanket to cover bugs and the FACT that Fifa isnt real football.

now im not saying pro evo's perfect but i am personally disgusted by EA'S efforts...i will say that there marketing is brilliant and was the sole reason why i was hyped up for FIFA 10 but iv never wasted such money on a game or any product for that manner

in short this is what description Fifa 10 should have:

FIFA 10= a great, extremely fun, high tempo footy game for the kids, with great tricks, flashy animations and virtua pro....

its easy to pick up with all new scripting which lets you just kick back and let the comp do all the decisions and game results online are predetermined which adds to the excitement and arcade element of the game :w00t

FIFA 10...how much of a mockery can football get.

I agree with much of what you say. You're right about PES not being perfect though. I'm especially pissed off about the online lag! I was looking forward to playing in some online tournies but it's been ruined for me. I think Konami should forget about the online for the next game - they just can't get it right!

Yeah great idea just not feature online in the next game.. :l you coped with last years online, so cope with this years!
and looks like fifas having more problems than pes

Actually I didn't touch last years online after experiencing the horrible lag. I was just looking forward to playing the new online game modes! Luckily, I prefer the offline gameplay of Pro Evo over Fifa, so I will stick with it. I think it's wrong to say that we should just cope with rubbish online though. It's comments like this that allow Konami to get away with poor development...

Not sure. I thought they would have already done this before the game was released.

Lame. Has PES 4eva actually played FIFA? They also aren't very convincing threads that he's picked and I certainly don't feel like my online matches have been fixed.

You have proved how little you know about FIFA since it gives you way more gameplay options than you've given it credit for. You have the option to have assistance on every aspect of the gameplay, and you have the option to choose to have everything on manual, where the ball will travel in whichever direction you press at the power you determine. The computer makes NONE of my decisions. None. The fact you have used this ridiculous arguement against the game when PES is so much more governed by the CPU makes your post void of any credit.

I have both games, and I really like PES this year, but your FIFA bash is pathetic and petty.
