That's a good read and i'd agree with most points on there...except one.

IMO, if your playing the mate and he's using the D-Pad and you opt for the analog stick, you're asking to get beat!!

I can see why Fifa uses the analog stick, it want's that realistic, touch senstive aproach and that's all well and good if your 12 and you want to replicate the actions of your favourite footballer on your Playstation but really, the DPad is a hell of a lot more responsive meaning it suits Pro Evo's play a lot better.

1) You can use the d-pad on FIFA 09 if you want. You can customize the controls to how you want them.

2) I know this thread is quite old, but it really belongs in 2009 discussions. I'd move it if I could...
