are you gonna get ffxi giggsy, im not too drawn by the idea so far on ps2, but i might get it on the pc.

Your right about the fmvs but i think the general graphics of ffx are better than most other ps2 games.

you should look out for grandia 2 on ps2 cos you probably wont ever see the original game anywhere, but if u do make sure you buy it, cos its out of this world.

i have never played any other rpgs' but theirs a new one out i think alled ultimate saga?

not sure but i won't get ff11 cos i don't like the idea of JUST online.

im not sure about unlimited saga, theres no exploring at all aparantly, town sare all text based and other nasty stuff.

there arent that many good rpgs that come out over here on ps2 that you can still get your hans on but if you can find a copy of ps1 games there are many good rpgs out:
- suikoden 1+2 - i have suikoden 2 and its an amazing game, but i got very lucky in finding it - second hand in a small games shop in Southport.

- Grandia 1+2 - your much more likely to find grandia 2 on ps2. both top quality games with awesome battle systems and great storylines. maybe youll see grandia 2 in a GAME shop in the second hand section, i see it a lot in Liverpool

- Star Ocean - very unlikely to see this game anywhere but if you do buy it.

Breath of Fire - theyre all good games but not as good as the final fantasies. i'd get one of these ahead of unlimited saga though.BOF 5 is out very soon.

Theres so many good rpgs that we dont get in england.eg chrono cross, xenogears, suikoden 3, xenosaga isnt coming out over here now either. It makes me mad that these games are all supposed to be better than the final fanatsys but we dont et to play them.

I've also got Suikoden 1+2! they are excellent but i had to get number 2 on import! its £89 on Amazon, so rare!!!!!!!!!!

i got suikoden 2 for £5 in a bargin bin hehehehe, talk about lucky.

Yeh, ffx-2 is the sequel to final fantasy 10, it has missions and stuff, and the characters walk round half naked (which is not a bad thing).

i thought the only thing bad about ff10 was, no world map.

it was too linear

this is why i can't wait until ff12 because ff11 is JUST online and ff12 will prob just be a normal ff game.

by the way, final gfantasy 7- advent children is not a rumour or indeed a sequel to ff7, its an animated picture using cgi, it has the characters from 7 and a whole new story. it looks trully stunning, i recommendd u go look at it.

some of you might be upset at why sephiroth is so womanish mind u....

I liked Tidus too, or in my game Sudit. I just put all the names backward in FFX.

Ahh Christ how I love the Final Fantasy series. Anthology and Chronicles just came in with the mail.

I chose Squall. I like the intense personal responsibility he has for others. Seems a bit more serious and has a little more depth than Cloud. If that causes you to sputter indignantly, play through Kingdom Hearts and pay attention when Yuffie and Aeris introduce the Lionheart himself. And Lionheart, the limit break, was some severe shit.

I would have chosen Vincent, had he been amongst.

Squall is also my favourite,cool and may seem a little cold-hearted but he cares for everyone I can tell,FF8 is also the best game of the series..

Agreed Poffe - 8 was outstanding. Squall couldn't say he was the victim of experiments or memory loss or mind control. He made himself into quite the asshole, and had to resolve all of that consciously, aware through it all he was the only one responsible for his past, present, and future.
