Finally, a positive Review!

I've been fed up with all the major sites giving PES 2010 7/10's. I know it's not perfect but it's a massive improvement on PES 2008 & 2009 and deserves at least an 8/10 score.

Finally it seems that someone has actually played the game for more than 5 minutes:

They're obviously a big fan of PES but at least the reviewer has obviously spent a fair bit of time on the game and gives both positive and negatives.

interesting - they gave FIFA a 9 as well.

I didn't read all of it - did they say which they prefer

What's wrong with asking someone about a game they have?
Just lets all go out and by the game not knowing how it plays and it turns out to be shit.

I just typed out a big lot of splurge here but lost it due to not having signe din b4 sending it.

But to keep things short, I am big fan of PES2010 and think the AI balancing is its strongest asset, making for many challenging gritty games. IT would get a 9/10 from me but the button lag and above all the goalie bugs which can totally undermine the game lose it a point and knock it down to 8/10

AS for FIFA, we have all heard about how fantastic it is and about all the different ways in which it is superior to PES. However, how many reviewers have discussed the following:
"Yes, FIFA is an amazing game in so many ways, but er....hmm, well, the AI is rather more scripted than PES's and it just so happens that FIFA's AI is very keen on gifting you 1-1 chances out of thin air and unfortunately in 1-1 situations in FIFA, it is a fucking goal more or less everytime!"

I mean, a little honesty from these arselicking fan-boy cunts would be nice for a change wouldn't it? They could even say right after it:

"But dont let this gaping big fucking hole in the games AI engine put you off, cos you can just make rules where nobody is allowed to score from 1-1's without passing the ball first and er um and er, yeah, its just better than ProEvo cos I am an arselicking n00b that cant think for myself and I have an editor to please, so just buy the game and marvel at its animations and all the dinky little ball control options in the game"

I would also give FIFA10 a 9/10, but with this damn 1-1 AI atrocity it gets chucked right in the fecking bin with the 6/10 that it deserves!

in my last 8 online matches in FIFA ( i decided to keep stats for last 8 games ) i have score 31 goals. and conceded 17.

out of my 31 goals: 26 were CHIPPED over the keeper in 1 v 1 situations.

Nothing wrong with that requiem.Ive bought FIFA and PES this year and im not gonna get into which is best,but im glad ive bought both.On the subject of PES though id say its a massive improvement on last years effort
+Top player i feel is much harder,the CPU fights you in possesion
(Played on top player last year and scored 300+ goals,too easy)
+Graphics are immensly better
+The new ML looks loads better and is a challenge to get going with
(i dont select a top team with loads of money,designed my own
Scunthorpe United and only have £3m with default players)
+The champions league looks amarzzin
+Music is ace and its automatically loaded my tracks from last year
Anyways some people are slating PES this year,but i feel if you played last years and felt it was a dissapointment you arent gonna like this years.
If last years kept you happy for a while then this years promises that bit more

With games like PES though, I dont think review scores matter too much. Anyone who is into the game or ever has been is going to check it out and it will either hit that persons spot or it wont.

For me, PES 2010 hits the same spot that no PES game has hit for quite some time. For this reason, the piss-poor shocking goalkeepers in the game should be made a national emergnecy and a matter for urgent attention.....

But you could always swap the game or sell it if you don't like it,goal keepers are shocking i was playing my mate the keeper comes out does a ronaldo style flick and sprints back.
