I like many of you started playing PES back in the days of iSS on play station. Since PES 6 I have struggled big time to get into this, I thought especially 2010 and 2011 were awful and just could t enjoy them.

Me and my mate used to play co-op master league an since PES 6 turned to FIFA and I have no shame in saying we have much enjoyed it. Today though we opted to for PES 2012, I on my own again have struggled to enjoy it, found it a real chore.

But playing co-op with my mate was like going back to the days of old it was awesome. It no longer felt the chore of playing single player. I think much helped by having two people means more options and the game seemed to come a live. There are flaws, training is badly implemented, cut scenes repetitive and dull but at last I think the magic is back.

Good thing you posted this, I truly encourage people get a friend or BUY ONE :D and try PES Master League like this, my god it's a blast. We've played with together Pes's from 5, 6, 2008, 2010 and 2011 with a friend. Gives so much options to build your play and so good feelings of joy when you succeed together..
(And easily also fighting when things don't run that smoothly :happy: )

It is happening again
I must say, despite my hatred for single player mode, I have found the online mode slightly more enjoyable. Obviously there are still a lot of the same problems that bug single player mode, but they're much less common. I did concede the most ridiculous goal today though - Real Madrid user crosses a harmless ball into the box.... keeper palms it in at the near post :facepalm:

after the latest patch i discovered the love back. right now the game is near PES5 and 6. Can't understand people who complain about the latest patch. Now its much more rewarding to play a good defence and in the offense everything is possible like you imagine

The thing about the next patch is that it is end to end fooball which is unrealistic as there is no midfield play as the CPU pressure you as if they are pressure abusers
