I have to admit that i am very excited about the screenshots. They do show improvement. After staring at them since about 5:30, i cant wait!!

will there not be adidas kits? just cos spain don't have the adidas stripes on their kit which they should. or was it like this on pes3 and we had to edit it?

Why do some people moan about the graphics ?
It´s a fuckin PS2, not a PC with 3 GHZ Pentium, 512 MB RAM and a 128 MB graphic card
WE/PES series (PS2) won´t improve graphically anymore, get used to it or play FIFA
I´m happy with WE7:I graphics, there´s no need for improvements in that part of the game

I love the lighting effect on the first screen, looks more realistic. Even the dull winter crowd seems to have a splash of colour with red hats and scarves (spain fans maybe?). And the crowd is still 2-D, which doesnt bother me as the PS2 would never handle a 3-D crowd. Theres not alot more that can be done graphically with the PS2.

However the Chelsea-Arsenal shot is not so impressive as it looks identical to PES3. Not sure about the scoreboard, would rather see team names than the flags. However it does look a bit more TV-like which is promising for the rest of the game.

great screenshots this is going to be huge !!!!
i like the scoreboard big but it looks better, the kits are really good you can actually see the folds, i don't care about better graphics, for me these graphics are a lot better than fifa's

True. Fifa graphics are too bright and child-like. PES/WE is always more realistic-looking and subtle.

indeed FIFA hasn´t got nice graphics, they look unrealistic and "childish", which is quite strange, because other EA games like NBA Live or Madden NFL have great graphics

Yes it is a strange one. I have Tiger Woods 2004 and the graphics on that are absolutely beautiful. You often find yourself watching the replays as much for the views than the action. I think EA overcook the FIFA graphics to appeal to the kiddies.

Why are you so damn excited over let`s say, NOTHING ???

So far, we don`t know anything about WE8, and you imediately start to cheer for WE8 like it`s going to be the best football game you`ve ever played in your life ???

I`m really fed up with Konami`s lies and promises. That General Producer of WE series Seabass must be the biggest tool I`ve ever known. So in WE8, there won`t be an online play, there won`t be official licenses for club teams and national teams, no real kit`s so I think WE8`S improvement is = NOTHING !! KONAMI is really ripping people up, they made a ref`s presence on the stadium a new (LAMEST SCOREBOARD I EVER SAW) and a new stadium and maybe another animation or a trick/move ?/ that`s about it.. I don`t see any improvement. 70% of people like WE/PES coz of it`s good gameplay and we are able to use patches to make the game look realistic. I`m really happy with my WE7I-J patched with WEFantasy X-Patch FINAL.

I see Jag has already pre ordered his copy, LOL that`s really stupid.. 2 months away and you don`t know anything about it..very dumb..

they also said there is mud on kits, hair movement, extra teams, stadiums + the stuff you already said so it should be better i use patched versions anyways so i don't care about the licenses

Im sorry but why the hell are you calling me dumb?? You'll see when all the screenshots are released in a few weeks time, that i was right to order my game in advance, before the rush starts, and the pre-orders start to flood in. My name will be top of the list. And hey, if the game turns out shite, which im 100% sure it wont, i'll cancel my order. I guarantee that im not the only one who's pre-ordered WE8.

The in game screenshot looks just like Pes3, like the cardboard cut out fans etc. Also i think the one side is Arsenal and by the looks of it theyve still got that kit from about 4 seasons ago, Konami must really love that kit

Sorry Eksol, but most info you gave us is simply wrong, Konami never said that PES4/WE8 will be fully licensed, if you read that somewhere and believed in it it´s your fault, not Konami´s. You can´t say there will be no improvement in WE8 compared to WE7 because, I assume that you know that, the WE series is well known for its progressions in gameplay, not in graphics or amount of teams, so you can´t say "WE8`S improvement is = NOTHING" simply because you haven´t played it.
Did you see any improvement from WE5 to WE5FE to WE6... ? I assume that you answer "yes"
Did you have any more info 2-3 months before the previous (WE5, WE6 etc) releases than now ? I assume that you answer "no" - you also had only this what you call "NOTHING" and I call an "almost complete features list" before the releases of older games, and still there was an improvement

I can't see how we8/pes4 is gonna get worse than previous versions, to be fair to konami they do tend to improve there games for the better!!

Jag, mate, I didn`t call you dumb lol..but somewhat your decision was dumb.. I`m just looking out for all of you that`s all. And Larsson, I did see some progress between WE6 and WE6:FE, huge improvement actualy..however KONAMI needs to do something new, add something atractive...last year with WE7I was crazy. We had 5 different versions, which was confusing as HELL. Then WE7 came out it was good, few monts later WE7I-J came out which is so far the best WE instalment however, there wasn`t ALOT of improvements between WE7 and WE7I-J.

Now so tell me what pro evolution soccer game that has bn released so far has been a disappointment???? Every new PRO game improves and betters the previous version so thats why i'm so happy because i know it's going to be better than PES3.
