40yard strike first time goes just over?.. he should have been more accurate with that.

youd swear they were actually blind and possibly deaf too, joke of an attempt at decent commentary. give it some atmosphere too its not that hard just use actual live match commentary and import it into the appropriate scenario.

To me, the commentary hasn't changed for years.
It's very rarely apt to the situation in hand and is incredibly bland.
Surely the budget could stretch to a few new sentences rather than than the same stuff parroted out year after year?

if I'm not mistaken,Jon Murphy has said in an interview that konami will not fix commentary in near future.He said that as he praised fifa superb commentary but pes beat fifa in gameplay department.
idk if he means that actually.

Bring back Lawro! I cant believe I would actually want that, while he was doing it I hated his punditry, but Beglin sounds so bad, you can almost see him with a script in his hands. I wouldn't mind but he is good at his job on ITV.

Personally, in the old days, I used to put the commentary in German. I cant speak German, and have vertually no clue what they are saying, but it used to make me laugh. I have always found the German language quite funny - "A Long Shot" became "Ein Langer Schoss" - and player name pronunciation - "McFadden" sounded like "Micfeden". Much funnier. Now though, it's everything English, or everything German, not like the old games where you could have English in game text with German commentary.

Have you guys had that stupid thing where the commentators will speak over each other....jim beglin will say something and jon champion will say something halfway through but jim wont stop talking so when it happens I get this horrid mess of noise coming out my speakers of these two speaking over each other.

you should be able to add your own commentating lines & player names. that would be just amazing. Peter Drury & Trevor Francis should be the commentators.
