I got this game yesterday on Xbox, it's pretty damn good I must say. At first I didn't like it, I thought the handling was poo, but I carried on playing and it really grew on me. The physics are really good. You can choose to try and dodge everything, but you don't get any boost then. Or you can choose to smash into your opponents and things round the track to increase your turbo meter and also create havoc on the road behind you. It's great smashing into a pile of logs, making them tumble across the track creating havoc for your opponents 
It is supposed to be amazing on Live, 8 players without any slowdown at all, but I haven't got Live for my xbox so I can't try it
