I enjoy the game, its alot more arcadey than PES/WE. The long balls are brilliant, you have 360 degree movement and you can play the ball exactly where you want. There's too many bugs in the game for it to compete with PES or WE at the moment, but in future versions, it could well be better.


Here's a goal i scored today, long balls in the game are great, shame the keeper went walkabouts which is one of the frustrating things in the game:

I will buy it if a PAL version is released. Otherwise Namco are missing a trick with the european market.

Just played 3 games after i "RECIEVED" the game this morning. Its hard and reminds me of the ISS Series. IT also plays like TIF 2003. WE7i is far superior.

I like the free run feature in the game. Point to the player you want to make a run, hold L1 and you will control him yourself....make him run up the line and play a long ball to him, works great if you pull it off.

There's just way too many bugs in the AI and players clipping for it to compete with Konami now, but some of the features in the game are alot better than the ones in PES/WE.

LOL - Much better ;) - Football Kingdom has vodafone logos in the game so does that mean man utd wont be licenced in WE8?

The freekicks are either to close or to far off. Never an balance. the corners again are hard to perfect which makes it all the more challenging.

I scored from my second attempt at a corner.
It is a funky little game. A nice different type of footie game. Takes a bit of getting used to though.

Would like to see a definitive list of skills and shooting techniques.

How do you turn off the commentary? My PS2 doesnt like commentary of any sort unless on DVD :(

still a chance for we8 to get the licenses... but the chance is silm...

Well, I don't want to be a smart ass but the title of the game is:

Football Kingdom Trial Edition

so, we are dealing with trial edition. I have to admit that "trial edition" of pes3 had (and still has :() some issues in regard to AI.

Maybe when they "polish" it and tighten the AI will be a good game. Maybe we will see FK FINAL edition or FK2 in sooner future.
FK has some brilliant ideas and I would love to see those in WE.

I agree though with everybody else, it's far from WE7i.

After all, it's better than FIFA!:)
