Aw FM2006 is quality. You have more media comments and unlike FM2005 theyre in categories (i.e positive, negative and even mind games) But for me the best part ive came across (so far) is the fact that you can have talks with your players at half time and full time! Quality gaming, and cant wait for the game to come out so i can get my copy. Excellent. ***** Rating

It seems abit harder than the 2005 version - I don't know if this is just me but that's the first impression I got.

Anyone agree?

Glad I'm not the only one then;

It's also abit weird players having less of a high transfer value - maybe they realised the prices in 2005 were abit too much..

I agree with the value of players... FM2005 was shocking. I purchased Adriano for a meer 35m whereas in 2005 i wouldve had to fork out more. Kincent Kompany is quality again in this one, i always buy him. Near had 'Magic' but he rejected me at the last jump.

Kompany is always a good buy mate - and he is quite cheep considering so that's always good. I always seem to buy wee Diego from fc porto and Cavenaghi(sp) - Sadly he's not in the demo..:(

Id usualy always buy Tevez too, but didnt bother this time, round. Mascherano i opted for this time.

I do. Got beat by Arsenal despite some good signings, then drew with Portsmouth.

The game is made so that if you play it unrealistically (ie. take over Chewsea, United or Real Madrid with no previous managerial experience) then it becomes harder to begin with. However this is basically void after a convincing start to the season. Still, I always found it more challenging, realistic and entertaining to start by managing a lower league club and making your way up.

A question about FM06, what's United's transfer budget? Did the game side with the Glazer propaganda of £20 million a year, or a much more likely lower figure?

Akineye, i dont usualy pick Chelsea or any 'Top' Euro team, i just thot that i would this time 'cause Chelsea should have stacks a cash... they have like 94m and ive still about half left. I like the way its harder, ill keepplaying till i get it right, even if i do get sacked along the way.

They actually have a transfer budget of £94 million? That would make the game incredibly straightforward unless of course the effect of managing a big team with no managerial experience was drastically increased in this game.
