In theory, it will be excellent - however, because I do have a full-time job I can only commit my spare time to it (which isn't limited, so I don't want to use it as an excuse).

Having seen the screenshots from FM 07, it would appear the pictures I gather will be transferable, as well - so it won't be in vain for next year's release.

Watch this space - and, as I said, if anyone wants to help with the gathering of pictures, or if anyone's got any particular sections of the game they'd like covered sooner rather than later, either let me know in the thread or PM me - and I'll sort that out for you post-haste.

Does anyone know how to install the Rotated Logo Mega Pack for Football Manager 2006?

You should just be able to extract the whole thing into your data/graphics/pictures/logos/clubs folder.

If that doesn't work, extract the individual sub-folders into the logos/clubs directory. By sub-folders, I mean (using England as an example) the contents of the FM-League Countries/England(Rotated)199/ folder, where there are 8 different folders labelled "premiership," "championship" and so on. Extract these into the "eng" part of the clubs logo folder, overwriting where prompted.

I know it's a bit laborious, but this method definitely works (that's what I did, and I'm guessing you've got the same mega-pack as I have).

Just ensure you overwrite whatever was previously that, and make sure the relevant config.xml's go with the logos, and it will work as soon as you re-start your FM.

How do you insert the logos onto teams that don`t all ready have logos.

Just put them into the logos/clubs directory, in whatever folders they're in within the .rar/.zip - as long as the config.xml file is with them, they'll work.

You could follow the pattern that SI did - so for Russia, create a folder "rus" and then put them in there, and so on.

But that's only for keeping-everything-tidy purposes.

Thats the players i can remember

In my third season, won the uefa cup, league cup and premiership last season, very happy with that. Only lost 6 games all season, its a hard job rotating my squad i change strikers atleast every 2/3 games to keep the front 3 happy. Makinwa is the main guy though hes amazing even his national record is 29 caps and 26 goals. Got offered the man utd job , portugal, czech and denmark job last season. Newcastle are ranked the 4th best club in the world ... No one is bigger than me in my squad, owen was unhappy and he got sold same with luque. Its a challengin tick rotating the squad but i've sorted figured out a system now. Jus started off my new season won the community shield and first two games...

After enjoying my time in the north-east with Middlesbrough - albeit an unsuccessful spell on the pitch - I decided to concentrate on enjoying the summer free of work-ties, and watch the World Cup.

Three games in, and I'm managing Hartlepool - who were relegated to League Two. Still, a job's a job.

I imagine the main reason Hartlepool got relegated was due to them selling Adam Boyd to Man Utd - their only half-decent player.

Still, a couple of freebies here and there - and I should be at least pushing for promotion straight back up.

How do you get the pictures of the in game screens?

When you've got the desired screenshot on your monitor, hit "Print Screen" (might say PrScrn on the button).

Then, open any program like Microsoft Paint, or whatever, and Ctrl + C it - it will appear, then save it as a .jpg (smaller file).

Voila.

COMPLETELY off-topic, but am I the only one who uses the old DOS commands of Ctrl+Insert to copy and Shift+Insert to paste?

I use the Windows ones because when dragging with the mouse, I like to keep my right hand on it and use the left-hand-side of the keyboard to carry out shortcuts.

If I was a lefty, I'd probably use the DOS commands.

Makinwa has been ledgendary on my Palermo game, he is the greatest least talked about player ever on Football Manager.

It is the year 2015 and all of the sudden the Palermo board hate me, I finished 6th which was not great but three more points and I could have got very close to 3rd. I have done so much for them and now they are considering releasing me!!! :shocking: !!! I also got up to third in the euro rankings despite not having a great year (I was 5th last year). AND I made the club the richest they have ever been, my team are transitioning so the year after next I should be challenging Juve for the league (they have won it by miles for the past 6 years) but I doubt my board will give me the time.

I have left my job as Czech Republic boss and joined Sweeden, and I kind of wished I didn't. I had a good thing at the Czechs.
