Bent just got his 10th of the season, in the 5 - 0 thrashing of his former club; Charlton! Fulham are next and I'm 5th in the table, I could go top if I win.

Also in to the quarters of the Mickey Mouse Cup, after beating; Chelsea! Play Watford too, semi-final, 'ere I come.

Started a new one with Boavista. I only had 700 to spend on transfers, so I couldn't strengthen my team with new players. I lost my first match with Porto at home, then won against Sporting at Alvalade and lost again at home, this time with Académica. In three matches, I scored two goals, which isn't bad considering that all my three strikers are injured (Linz, Fary and Zairi).

I've got a Boavista game from the demo and I'm third behind Sporting and Porto at Christmas. I even beat Sporting - and later got totally smashed by Porto.

Bent has been skull fucked, that's 4 months without a striker that isn't a complete donkey, not only that, but the 3 musketeers (Kanu, Lua x2 and Benjani) will be off to the African Cup of Nations soon. That leaves me with Andy Cole, not bad, but he can't play up top by himself (he's wank at heading and has a first touch like a rapist), so I'm clearly down a certain creak without a paddle.

Get Ivica Olic in.

Failing that, look to get Aliadiere in, you can get him on loan for the season with no trouble. Also look at getting Bendtner in.

Aliadiere is great for midtable sides, got him for my Reading side in January and he scored 6 in 8 starts, most of them being stunners. He does have a habit of missing sitters though.

Got a game going with Torquay and am currently 12th in League 2 halfway through the first season. Started off terribly, not able to score at all, then went on a great run of 6 consecutive league wins (taking me to 3rd place) but it's all going downhill now :(

Argh. I really blew it in the last 2 months of the season. A typical Football Manager crappy run-in, which saw me drop from 5th to 8th, and miss out on the playoffs. Unsurprisingly, I beat top of the table Leicester 3-1 away on the last day of the season, which ultimately meant nothing. If only I'd beaten West Brom at home in the game before that ..

Overall a good season though. Hopefully next season I'll make it to the Premiership. I'm a bit annoyed with my board though. I made 2million profit last season and they only gave me £200k more to spend on transfers then last season. Also, when I go to the Board Room, it says they are disappointed with the team's performance within the Championship this season. Right above where it says that we were expected to fight bravely against relegation. I finished over 20 points away from relegation, and 2 points off the playoffs. Some people just can't be pleased

I have a question about assigning tutors/mentors to players. And the question is, how do I assign tutors/mentors to players?

To assign a mentor to a younger player, click the player interaction on the young player, and then choose the player, it is on the middle of the screen near the bottom, then say if they will be the ideal rolemodel etc.

I hope that makes sense

Be careful when doing it though - players with different personalities may start hating each other. Had it with Pirlo and the best player in my youth side, both of whom are unsure of their future at the club now. Can't even force them to make up.
