Well yeah. The injury problem makes me play more fringe players who are my promising youngsters and they actually get the job done.

Just get the game man then if you don't like it whack it on the bay.

Where nobody is trusted due to the limit of five activations. Plenty of people have bought it off there and been met with a message saying the code has already been used on the limited number of computers.

The game is frustrating at times but things have really picked up recently and I'm on a good run of form. Lost 3-0 to Villa in the FA Cup at Molineux but second in the league in mid-January. And I've had one or two injuries but nothing I'd deem unrealistic.

Worldwide Soccer Manager's presentation problems don't end there though, once you finally make it to your team's first game you'll find that the player renderings and animations are awful, and the stadiums you play in lack any kind of personality or detail. Each field is bordered by fences and what appear to be unfinished stands, which don't have any fans in them. And, when the ball is kicked off of the pitch, it passes smoothly through the surrounding fences, right through the stands, and disappears from view only to return to the field in the same fashion, appearing magically from the stands and passing through the fences (and goals) on its way back into play.

It's like the game was designed with the sole intent of forcing you to play with the reserves

Does anyone else find the loading times annoying when you want to make a sub, I know that it's setting up the little pitch at the bottom of the tactics screen, but, it takes a little while, and is annoying.

Can I knock that off?

Well i've installed the game, and can clearly see why so many people were complaining about the installation. Luckily, my brother guided me through it.

I've give my first thoughts of the game probably next week.

I'm considering buying the game. I spent a large portion of a day playing it at a friends, and found it to be quite addictive. But I found it quite difficult, even with Manchester United, and what should have been pretty sound tactics. Perhaps it was simply that my players morale was low due to my being a new, inexperienced manager, or maybe I just needed to tweak the tactics more, but it was frustrating to say the least. It was quite demoralising to see all that effort put into generating a sound gameplan result in scraping by piss poor friendly oppositon, then drawing with lower league opposition at the start of the season.

But the word regarding installation, verification, and needing to run STEAM everytime one wants to play, puts massive doubt over whether I can be bothered with it all. I haven't played since CM4, which I loved, and was considering getting back into the series, but it seems I picked a bad time.
