Format USB using Xbox 360?

Can this be done with any USB? if so, how?

I've been reading this tutorial and it says make sure i format usb to xbox 360, im really wanting to transfer option files - Any help appreciated.

I dont think there is a straight answer to your question.

I doesnt work with all USB keys but with some.

You insert key in the box and in the settings menu of the xbox you format the key to "xbox format".

No its just ridiculous and if you want a more elaborate answer you can probably find it on Microsoft' xbox homepage.

My first USB key worked so im happy.

Tried both of my USB's and when i go to memory in the settings only my hard drive shows up, so i guess none of them work?

Is there some other way i can get peoples option files on my game?

anyone willing to hook me up if i sent them a USB? For the life of me I cant figure out how to get the option files on to my USB from my computer. I tried reading the tutorial from Slashr but I'm pretty novice when it comes to computers. Plus im on a mac. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?
