Free kick and penalty kicking styles: differences?

Does anyone know if the different possible styles for free / penalty kicks (A, B, C, etc in the character edit) affect gameplay?

Does Roberto Carlos' long run-up style add power but lessen curl, or anything similar? Any ideas?

Duno really mate...doubt it does, although Beckham's corners are different from everyone elses but I dont think it affects the way he shoots whilst the ball is in open play-I think that is only affected by shot accuracy/power etc.

Im not 100% sure though so I might be wrong.

From personal experience I have found that Roberto Carlos style free kicks may have a little more power on them, although this could just be due to the way it looks.

However I think it's probably more likely that the free kicks depend on the stats of the player, and the styles are there just for image and to add a more personalised touch.

it does affect gameplay..becks will shoot with a lot of curl on the ball and it will often go outside the left post..and carlos have more power and curl so a,b,c etc. will affect the gameplay..alot

Ok, EVERY free kick type has pros and cons, you just have to figure out which oens you like. I personaly can't shoot right with the Beckham one. I like the Mihaihlovic (sp?) though. And for penalties, I think the one from stance is the coolest
