hi everyone! i am jacky from the sunshine state. well i was born in hong kong (a british colony for 99 years) though, and that's why i love football (americans called it soccer). i have been an arsenal through and through since 1996... and i am 18. i have been playing we series since we6. would love to play pes but it's on PAL only... hmm... had been playing fifa series since 1998 (road to world cup 1998) until it turned bad in fifa 2003... and i made a right switch to we6... my friend juan has been providing english patches of we's and i am playing we7 in english! beautiful game! if the champions league anthem is not on when china plays saudi arabia or if there were all the leagues, then we7 will be perfect!
oh... why i support arsenal? all of schoolmates in my primary school were supporting man u... and i am the only one supporting arsenal. it paid off during the 1997/98 season when we won the double. but i was not a happy man when all the guys cheered for man u when they won the champions league... rivalry was on!
and supporting arsenal gave me some happy times. well, i am fortunate that one of my teachers supports arsenal. and he was the teacher for my chinese class back in 1999. i scored 49.5 (50 for passing) in the final exam. and my teacher said: "don't worry, junior gooner, we are both arsenal thru and thru, i will give u the 0.5 point."
now i am in miami. a lot of people plays football (soccer) here but it was south american style. too much short passes and one man dribbles all. i was a defensive midefielder and no one passes the ball to me ever. and everytime i tackle they say "u are a dirty player". is it americans don't tackle or what?
well, i gotta say about the matches that we watch here. at least 4 premiership games every week so it's good. fa cup, carling cup, champions league, uefa cup, serie A, italian tim cup, la liga, copa del rey, bundesliga, german cup, le championnat, coupe de la lique, eredivisie, mls, argentina primera, campioneto brasilero, futbol mexicano, copa libertadores, world cup, euro 2004, confederations cup, african nations cup... and i am impressed with sky sports's matches, but fox sports world, the tv channel that broadcasts sky's games, cut out their postgame song for every match. i am furious with that! anyone know the producer?
that's my story... i have more to tell but that's it for now. if arsenal win the champions league this year, i will tell u more as i will be at schalke if they are in the final! see u.
