I think we all know that Pro, in all its various forms, has never been known for its realism when it comes to the transfer market. There have been a few strange ones on my current BAL game. It's bad enough that you have retired players like the 40 year-old Paul Scholes starting for England, but I've also seen transfers like:

Theo Walcott from Arsenal to Tottenham, and Ashley Cole also going to White Hart Lane (can you imagine the response they'd get?)
Cesc Fabregas to Blackburn (why?)
35 year-old Jamie Carragher from Liverpool to my Man Utd side (picture Steve Gerrard's face if this happened?)

Worst of all though, on my current game at least, the mighty, c. £50m Franck Ribery lighting up the Prem playing for Wolves. Where they got the money for him I'll never know...

Anyone else got any worse?

Messi to Pompy (Portsmouth) when I was at West London White (Fulham) He played stunningly shit.

Kaka to Middlesbrook (Bolton Wanderers) Also when I played For West London White (Fulham) Played so good he got an 8.0 rating and a 7.5 rating in both the league games, (good for AI)

I found this the most ummm... strangest of all... for strange reasons, The amazing... Zamora... going to AC Milan???

I was like... ROFLMAO!!!

konami must of been smokin weed when they built the transfer game engine hahaha crazy transfers, i was arsenal in football manager 2010 and put a bid of 300mill for ashley cole and they still wouldnt sell him just adds to the long list of unrealistic things about pes really dont it lol

i played against arsenal on mine and the commentator said ''ashley cole'' when their left back had possesion, i took a moment to think about that one, did he move from arsenal to chelsea in real life or was it the other way around.

i had gerrard going to lyon, torres to roma and rooney going to sevilla. had reina to man utd and lampard to wolves. messi to xerez in the spanish league with kaka moving to bolton and c.ronaldo going to west ham...all happened in 1 season!!! i was like WTF!

I'd be damned if he joined man utd in real life. PLus also Van der sar joins liverpool.

Also had Lampard join Barcelona. Very strange seeing as though they already have the most complete midfield.

A few of these stem from the fact that they have missed out a simple, yet important feature in the game - relationships between clubs and rivalries.

it's also weird that athletic bilbao (known for only accepting players of basque origin) is willing to accept pretty much anyone!
