game is so heavily scripted

Im now playing fifa19 for a couple of days and im really enjoying it.. it plays very quick and fresh.. and again.. im a real pes fanfan since pes 6 but i really felt cheated by konami.. same menus, same crowd, same commentary.. normally is does not bother me if the gameplay is good but too much is too much for me.. i still hope pes returns but as advice from a die hard pes fan.. maybe try fifa this year, i think you will enjoy it.

I have exactly the same problem with PES this year. I'm fed up with all of it after so many years same old stuff like you mentioned. Since the gameplay is a disappointment there is nothing left. I'm a PES player since tbe early beginning but switched to Fifa this year.

After 6 days of Fifa 19 I can honestly say I enjoy the offline gameplay. I dont feel AI is cheating or it is too scripted like PES 2019. In fact I even see realism in this game. I play with 6 Premier League teams and every match feels different depending on players and formation. Im playing on Worldclass what makes matches pretty fun to play. Maybe I still suck a bit cause everyone is talking about overpowered overhead kicks and cornerkicks.

Off course I miss things of PES but because I havent played Fifa for years it is a new and challenging game for me. And all other details on and of the pitch is just incredible. For now Im loving Fifa 19 but we ll see in another few weeks if Im not bored already.

I do hope the patch will fix AI problems in PES late October. Still my old love haha

So im not alone, i must say that it is really a good and complete game.. with the new fifa i found a lot of elements that i used to love in pes.. fast and smooth gameplay, nice thrue passes, formation and tactic options,... , i got no problems with the switch to fifa because i can play my style of football like i did on pes so that makes it easier.. but square is still my shoot button

I too am enjoying FIFA 19 for once, it's been quite a few years since I liked FIFA. What I find odd is the massive amount of hate FIFA 19 is getting because of the changed/slower gameplay, they want the high speed arcade ping pong gameplay back and EA says they're not touching game speed this year which is a good thing. Yeah I feel FIFA 19's gameplay is somewhat similar to PES and is an easy transition, which is a good thing.

BUT- the auto AI defending has to go!
