Game speed?

I don't think I am the only one who notices this but I have the 360 version of PES 2008 and I imagine it's the same on PS3 but not sure about the PC version.

Why is the speed of the game so fast compared to other versions? The last PES I played was on XBox and that was PES9 and the speed was fine.

In PES 2008 it seems like the ball is coming out of a rocket launcher. It doesn't loft through the air.

Any reason why Konami would do this and totally screw with the game speed?

And I'm not sure but it seems as if the game speed in training is slower as compared to playing an actual game.

Yes in the training the game speed is a bit slower. I really hate the speed of the game. It was one of my main complaints about the game.

what tv do you have?

i play it on a HDTV and the game is at normal speed but on my house mates SDTV it is really fast and feels completely wrong

Hm. I'll try to try it out on the HDTV out in the living room. I'll try it out there and report back tonight when I get the chance.

Yes it was like that. You're right, even I felt the same way when upgrading to hdtv. Though I don't have a reason for this. Still the game speed is a bit fast even on hdtv. Pes 5 had it perfectly.

I will have to do it tomorrow night and perhaps see if I notice a difference in the speed.
