Hi folks

Just wanted to say, I have been playing Pro Evo since it arrived on PS1, and have faithfully stuck with it despite all the shiny Fifa games coming out every year, I was disappointed with the lack of kits, stadiums, teams etc, etc, but the gameplay was a joy to behold.

Well... I will probably be heavily criticised for this, but I bought a patched version of the game from e-bay, simply because I don't have the download speeds, or the PC know how to install kitserver, bootpacks, ballpacks, stadium packs and all ther wonderfull stuff I read about on this forum.

Today I played Celtic Vs Rangers at Parkhead using a mitre spl ball and Sky Sports commentary and it was the best gaming experience of my life, absolute heaven.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the guys who give up their time to create amazing things like kitserver and all the add ons that come with it.

I don't understand why Konami don't look at the lengths the Pro Evo fans go, to get the game up to the standard that it should be at when we buy it. All of these editing tools should be in the game to start with, its just lazyness that they don't bother there arses.

Any way thanks again to all the editors, from Pro Evo fans across the globe. Keep pushing the boundaries.

Laziness? hmm.... EA have all the licenses and are very strict about who else can get a hold of them. Why you think the Bundesliga is gone? EA were annoyed at PES having more licensing than they wanted them to have.

Its not the lack of licenses I'm complaining about. Everyone knows Ea Sports have got that sewn up. But why not give us the option of importing more stadiums, balls, boots etc instead of leaving it to the brilliance of the guys that developed kitserver. The number of teams in Pro Evo compared to Fifa is a joke, Konami know they have got the gameplay perfect so we will buy the game no matter how bad the editing options are.

Its amazing, but cant get commentary and music doesnt always come up.

Did you just buy an update, or get the whole game on disc?
In the folders of pro evo, can you see where audio files such as commentary can be put in? Do you reckon its easy to insert things like that?

It really is good though, got 3rd and 4th kits of all clubs, choose goal keeper kits, 300 balls, 200 stadiums, old and new wembley, its pretty amazing! Honesltly, dont get me started on player faces.. they're better than tv... honestly they just look like real photographs stuck on the game.. quite immense... but still miss the smoothness of the PS2 versions, not quite as clean.

I bought a patched version of the whole game from a guy called georgelwem for a fiver, which was brilliant very easy to install, but he only had premiership stadiums. I just got a patch update disk from a guy called rich , and thats where I got all the stadiums and Sky Sports commentary from , that just required a copy and paste of one sound file. Both had really good installation guides with them.

The kits are amazing I've got 5 kits each for Celtic & Man Utd. Have you tried the indoor stadiums or beach soccer yet ? their good fun if you want a break from serious master league business.

I know what you you mean about the PS2 , this was my first time playing on the pc, and sometimes it does stutter a bit, but I think the sharper graphics, and as you say the player appearances just about shade it.

This sounds like a brilliant product i must get my hands on, however i was just wondering, i already have the normal Pro evo 6 on my computer, would this version just add the different updates in? or would it be a whole new program with its own folder?

I bought the exact same one, It's so great that as a community everyone can get together to make the games better. Sure I could probably get everything from that update for free but along with the topic starter I don't know how nor have the internet speed to download the things I need for it. I was looking to buy Pro Evo but when you can get the updates included for a fiver its a great thing.

its arrived and its absolutely amazing! u get about 900 balls tonnes of stadiums players look wicked boots are the real thing really!! amazing! one problem if you havent got a great comp then it can be slow especially with the balls pack but im ok!! amazing! for a fiver aswell!

yeah i know but it came next day as i ordered very early morning and he also sent me 2 copys by mistake at first i thought one was for playing and the other for installation but no 2 seperate copies so.... *if anyone lives in leicester and wants a free copy just let me know!*

Yeah thats great , but the reality is, not everyone can edit the game on their own, which is why this is a reasonably priced option for us mere mortals.

I would like to see these patch disks available on sites like this one. I've no doubt that the guys selling on e-bay are just collating other peoples work and selling it on for profit. If they were available here , the actual editors could get the credit, and a few quid for their trouble as well. There could even be different versions, like a patch leaning towards the Champions league, SPL or the Championship... just a thought.
